Ente you are amazing! Just wanted to post here and say that I took down my first sunat with this fully stock, no upgrades. Thank you! :) Unfortunately an Imerat Destroyer came and blew it up while I was salvaging the Sunat :(

Really enjoying this as my combat SV to defang POIs and smite PPVs. I ended up moving the lower weapons up higher, just below the upper weapons, so that they could fire over terrain better. At core 10 with 8x modulated lasers, I took down a sector command in it.

You add additional CPU upgrades. In Vanilla you only need the highest tiers of CPU upgrades. In RE and RE2 you keep the lower upgrades and add the more expensive CPU upgrades on top. Each extender just adds a fixed amount of CPU.

I wonder if you can clarify something for me, as a relatively (200hrs in Vanilla) new RE player.
You say this ship is cpu upgradeable, however there appears to be a limit of 2 of each of those installed, so have they changed it or am I missing something?

For unshielded I would use unguided Rockets or Railguns. Maybe Plasma, if you want to core POIs without running them.

Yeah, initially it will be unshielded. I've only just about reached the mid game, so still clearing off starter planets of Zirax..

Thanks! Unless you are going for unshielded POIs Lasers will still be one of the best, if not the best choice overall.

Like the design. I'm going to use it for picking weapons off of POI's. Are the laser cannon the best choice for that as it seems they have a penalty for shooting weapons? Or any thoughts on what might be a good trade for a couple of them?

@Xenosch: It's a similar color tone like the progen, but has nothing to do with those. Don't know yet whether I will build more in this style. We'll see, I guess.
