Having the same problem of Character Editor throwing red errors and freaking out while selecting them.

When dyeing shields the color doesn't change but reloading saves solves it

Character editor freaks out when I try to select shields from this mod, but otherwise they seem to work fine.
Would be nice to have more durability on them

for anyone who find the armor fragile or whatever just go to the mod folder of this file and make a copy of it change the name and put it in the rw "mod folder" for personal use and change the value of the xml file to make it more sturdy. or whatever

Are these supposed to be completely destroyed in 5-6 hits? I don't mean the force buckler shield - I had a pawn with a pavise that lost all durability and broke from fighting a couple of wolves.

@TOOTHBRUSHDUCK: For me the solution was to disable the Dual Wield mod. That somehow interfered with the shield settings. Now the settings do what they're supposed to :-).

@LTS: Thanks for the advice, but I already tried that wíthout any success whatsoever. Doesn't matter what I enable there, it changes nothing in-game. Maybe a mod conflict :-(.

Has anyone figured out how to make weapons shield-compatible? I was looking forward to playing with these shields, but the selection of weapons one can actually use in conjunction with them is abysmal. It's basically just medieval stuff plus the few Royalty ultratech weapons like the Zeushammer. Frustrating :-(.

So I'm having an odd issue; it seems to be requiring at least one biological arm to use one of these shields for me. If I have a pawn with two bionic arms it says "Can't equip, missing body parts." So, is this something you've heard of? Trying to figure out if it's a bug or maybe a mod conflict of some kind.

That's odd. I'd recommend checking your mod settings to make sure that the appropriate weapons are designated as usable with shields under 'Vanilla Shields Expanded'

Oooh, I think this might be the first full review one of my mods has gotten. I'm glad you like it. You make a fair point about the cost of the force buckler, I shall likely adjust that soon. You may also be pleased to know I do have a few more shields planned, including an empire themed one with it's art assets complete that's just waiting on me sorting some code out.

Can you provide your error logs or anything like that? Unfortunately, I can't really do anything with just the information you've provided.

Nope. As with all my mods, anyone is free to make a compatibility patch and either upload it themselves or send it to me for integration. I've received enough rude comments from CE users that I don't feel inclined to make compatibility for a mod I don't use.

Might be my mod list but when a pawn equips the shield, it just evaporates.
