One mod that was inspiring me visually is "University" - it creates a bunch of workshops with that cluttered tools style I was thinking; maybe it can be a useful visualization for you as well!

Beautiful! I love your mods! They add so much character!
I feel like visually the game is sorely lacking in decoration, and your mods help a lot - even the simple "just put it on the floor" hahah
Also inspires me to some ideas - crates, tools, books, busy tables, etc., so many graphical assets already within the game (like in workshops) would look gorgeous just littered around the fortress

Deleted my previous post - I grabbed a screenshot of what happened when I attempted to make a candle in 1.09, updated from 1.05. My dwarf grabbed wax and threat, and seemed to be doing the correct job, but ended up making a wax bowl? https://imgur.com/a/eFMpIOg

@ErisG96 could u please describe more details. What version do you have? Do you have other mods? What have u used as wax? Is the graphic of candle or a mortars? Can u share a screenshots?

For some reason my "candles" come out labeled as mortars or bowls, but work just fine for making altars?
