That's a pretty cool idea, I'll keep it in mind, but I can't promise anything. These take tons of time and effort to make right.
, dropping npcs off, with a gunner as well.
Oh, that's weird - That function that's missing is in charge of detecting whether or not the helicopter is crashed, and in most cases there's no reason why that would randomly be missing unless the files or the entity got tampered with. My best guess is that one of your mods is breaking it. Try running it without any other mods, and see if you still get the error. If so, let me know. If it works without any other mods, then you'll have to track down which one is breaking it.

Technically this thread should be for this addon, not the TF2 Bots, but I'll do what I can to provide you with some answers anyway. The long and short of it is that it's a ton of work, and I'd have to sit down for a couple weeks and sift through it. I'm not taking it off the table, but it is certainly a bit of slog. As for optimization, the TF2 Bots was my first real code project, and it's been 10 years since I wrote that code, if you can believe that. Some of the code is a bit sloppy, and it could use a re-write. As for the Saxton Hale NPC, that's very unlikely to happen unless I can find a 3D artist and an animator to make a working model. I'm a programmer, not an artist, but I'm certainly open to working with an artist. All of the assets for the TF2 Bots were taken directly from valve's 3D assets and animations, so I've got to work with what I've got. I'll tell you what, I'll take a look at it. We'll see what happens.
What's wrong, is it broken?
Yes it's fixed!
