Now you solved it how I really wanted to my chamber be solved :D. On my maps I try to go away from Portal Puzzles, I have to say I tried to make something special with this map, but I know it was not the best one. If I link the buttons you will still not see where they are linked, thats why I arent did it.like my new map will be a labirinth. I know, buttons was a really bad idea, this was my first map, I learned a lot from it and I am hoping you will try my other chambers too :)

Here's my new playthrough. You fixed some things, some issues are still the same.

Invisible connections or hard to notice buttons: I don't think a puzzle game about logic should be like a hunt for easter eggs. Also, pressing buttons is just not exciting. There's no reason to have that many buttons that do nothing puzzle-wise. It feels more like a pilgrimage than a game.

Player gets trapped: you say if you miss any buttons you have to restart the test. That's not true, but if it was that would be bad by design. You want the player to play and solve your map. You don't want the player to leave the map before he is done, but with those trapping situations you force the player to exit the map and manually restart it (or maybe he just abandons the map). Instead the player should be able to get things done from any point of the map. Don't allow the player to get into an unsolvable situation.

Okay, update relased I have fixed some "bugs". Thanks for toncica for pointing me out, and may I ask you to replay it and make another playthrough?
toncica 20 Oct, 2014 @ 7:26am
I'm afraid it is broken, I solved it in an unintended way, didn't I? :)

You're welcome to try any of my chambers. If you manage to solve it by skipping any part or by not using all elements then I will fix it. But be warned, most of my chambers are really hard.

You are free to tell your opinion of my map of course, I really apprecite it. And no mine map is not perfect, I know it. But not unfinished or broken. That is what I am trying to tell. Mine next map will be easier :)
toncica 20 Oct, 2014 @ 7:11am
Christopher, huh? I have solved it, there's a video link to my solution, missed only one button and I feel into the water at the end when I went back to press it. I didn't want to do that again since it was clearly solved. And I solved without using all elements.

Sounds like you're not appreciating my feedback. I 'm not here to argue but to tell my opinion of your map. If you think your map is perfect then ignore it.

Finally, someone prove my truth. D
Christopher [HU] 20 Oct, 2014 @ 6:48am
Dear toncica!
it can be solved is just EXTERMLY HARD. Good, but hard. I tried to do it myself and finished succesfully. There are no unused elements.
Ben426  [author] 20 Oct, 2014 @ 6:38am
I thought it is easy, but those who played said it is hard. Prelude is annoying too, but many people likes it. Like me, I have beat it many times and it still makes me to think. You skipped a lot of elements, thats why you missed one of the buttons. Your fault, not mine. And for the "And if I can skip parts of the puzzle and do it in a "weird" way then it's not finished." just checkout Portal 1 chambers, most of them has more solution. So they are not finished, or what?
toncica 20 Oct, 2014 @ 6:28am
You're contradicting yourself. In the description it says medium or easy, now you say it's supposed to be hard. And if I can skip parts of the puzzle and do it in a "weird" way then it's not finished. I bet my playthrough is shorter than your own solution. Are you really trying to say that it's supposed to be annoying? Who is going to enjoy an annoying map? Make it hard for the right reasons, not through annoyance. I appreciate a challenge, it comes with good design, proper lighting, clean logic, no redundant elements, etc.

tonica, thanks for your feedback. This chamber supposed to be annoying, thats why it is hard. I have watched your playtrought, it is very interesting. And yes, the chamber was tested and has been completed by Bartolo (he is on my friend list, you can ask him if you do not belive me. You solved it very....interesting and weird too... May I make my own playthrough for it. For the buttons: All of the buttons have function, there is one element what does no, other ones have use, you forgot to use it :P I post your playtrough and in my next chamber I will watch out for the bugs you mentioned. The chamber is finished but is supposed to be hard and individual. You cannot say to Portal: Prelude buggy or unfinished because it is hard.

My playthrough: http://youtu.be/5yZ_SzMDmtw
It's fitting that I forgot to press one of the many buttons, wasn't thinking with buttons enough.
toncica 19 Oct, 2014 @ 5:57pm
This chamber was extremely annoying, from invisible connections to hidden elements - some don't even work, traps where you either die or get stuck. Overall a very unfinished chamber, hard to believe you have tested this at all.

"you have to think with buttons"... that's so funny. You can tell that I'm a bit mad for having spent quite some time on this deeply flawed chamber. Maybe there were some nice ideas, I can't tell if anything I did was intended or if I broke your solution because many things were just sloppy.
