Found that you can adjust the mod options to get a more playable night-side lighting.
Raise Luminescence up to about 1.5, then lover Gamma to about 0.7 to keep balance on day-side.

AMAZING MOD! Or... it could be... It's unusable for now. What do i mean by that? At night you cant see ANYTHING, so if you got caravan going somewhere or want to place settlement etc u need to wait until day light.

I know there are options and settings, but so far i found nothing that gives Opacity to Darkness

Hello, I think there is an incompatibility between your mod and SO2. When generating a planet, you can see the atmosphere, but after landing and opening the planet menu, everything turns black.

@北冕武仙 水在被光源直接照射时是没有颜色的, 你看到的所谓的颜色那都是反射自天空。那个蓝色其实就是大气散射带来的,只要你开了大气散射就会看到。

@Maenne For rendering visual, I set water rendering to pure black. Because the water don't have other color in real life, it only reflected from the sky.

I can't get the water to render as anything more than pure black. I normally run a huge modlist, but even stripped down to only this mod + harmony I haven't been able to get results (while setting max radius to 100.80). It's possible my residual files could be causing issues.

@Komeiji Satori 可以在设置里面调整地面自发光。还有右下角的按钮可以关闭光照系统。关闭之后就不会渲染大气层之类的。我还做了几个预设,你可以在设置里面看到。

很好看,可惜在选登陆点的时候地形都看不清,只能遗憾离场()而且我笔记本GTX1650不改渲染倍率的话GPU占用直接拉满,帧数掉到只有17帧,改成0.8才能稳60,占用65%。不看地图的时候是30%左右

@Darian Stephens The image flashing is rendering bug, I don't know what cause that. but It has solution. try to set the Max Radius to other value, and that will not happens.

The flashing appears to be performance-related.
When my GPU hits 100%, the planet's lighting flashes. FPS drops seem to cause it, as well.
Dropping the render resolution to 0.5 drops the GPU usage way down, and the flashing stops from what I've seen.

In fact, I reset them to default several times to see if it did anything.

I'm also having GPU problems with this mod, more as I zoom in.
It reaches 100% usage on my RTX 3080 Ti.

Also, the planet flickers if I zoom in too far, which makes it hard to look it.
Additionally, I think the defaults are also a bit overtuned, since the clouds are completely opaque, making it impossible to see the terrain below and choose things like landing sites without clicking everything.

Is there any way to kinda revert it back to the first version on the user's side? The mod keeps getting more and more features that, while it may make the planet look nicer, are beginning to affect gameplay and the GPU too much.

Will the mod be made compatibile with regrowth or will it get animated textures?, something like how rimnauts 2 does with their asteroids but with the athmosphere.

但是性能有很大问题, 以及那会很好如果你能给出一些预设可供选择或者给那些参数一些注释以让普通人也能看懂
以及如果是云层而非噪波是动态的围绕着星球的话会很壮观

For anyone wondering why the planet turns dark using Regrowth World Generation Expanded, it's because of the world preview window generating the planet and failing to account the custom atmosphere shader.

To fix this, just disable the preview. You don't need to disable Regrowth nor Atmosphere, so the two mods can live in peace outside of that one weird little incompatibility.

BTW Nuclear, any chance to give an adjustable option for making the clouds move themselves? I think allowing the cloud PNG layer to rotate would add a lot of depth for a simple adjustment! Otherwise, amazing bloody mod, well done!

@Jdalt40 Looks like your game trying to update the LUT(Look-Up Table) in every frame and that is not correct operations. But still don't know what cause that. I will update a new version that will checking more process steps.

Oddly, GPU usage reduces down to 60% in a savegame, regardless of whether the map is open or not

Main error I found was

Playing with the values too much caused my pawns Gizmos to glitch out visually
