This was pretty addicting. My best result was 1,2 meters :D Cool concept, thanks for sharing!

Please make more versions for different maps! I really like the concept, its kind of like GeoGuessr for Arma. Just too bad that Altis is a bit easy for veterans since the map has so many distinct, unique landmarks. Like the windmills, the castle near Oreokastro, the research domes etc.

Wow! This mission is really well made! Love the optional help cutscene explaining the measuring.

First attempt, 3,8smth meters close. Though I had water, I was all the way to the north where that smaller island was so I instantly knew where I was, then I saw that a road was right in front of me, and behind me there were two trees very close to each other. Looked on map and noticed those two trees marked on map. Good mission, simple but challenging if you really want to get a good result.

Hey Morten, I'm not sure if youre still modding arma 3, but the player is still able to use the map button "center on player" which gives away the position. I have a solution, simply hide the button with this line of code:
(findDisplay 12 displayCtrl 1202) ctrlShow false;

Simple, but challenging, and FUN! First drop, 68 meters. Second drop, 18 meters. Next time, I know how I'll determine the center of the circle, to be more exact. Great mission!

Excellent mod. Just spent a couple of hours sight seeing Altis with my gf. Thanks!

Never thought I would use trigonometric functions in a game and even have fun at the same time. This mission is simple, but provides alot of fun ;)

Not bad. Maybe I'll resurrect my orienteering missions from Arma2. However, no drawing tools yet for Arma3 and also I checked Altis and the naming of towns and hilltops is extremely poor. Or at least in my limited testing a while ago. Maybe its changed now but I doubt it.

As a development idea you could combine find your self with supplying virtual artillery coordinates on a distant target, that would be fun.

Yaemwong: Fixed in latest version.

mission is not working. i can see the intro, than i see the map, get the message that i should extend my visible distance to 5000m , and than i get the screen mission over.

Good simple instruction sequence. Good rules and simple interactions. This is strangely addictive and can be rather frustrating but then rewarding if you be patient and methodical. Helps to have graphics and objects on maximum range. Randomed drop locations. A simply but enjoyable orienteering mission. Good Job.
