No, it's just that Malus has a different % value when being confederated. Before the nerf, it was 20% ward save. After the nerf, it was 20% physical resistance. You do need the mod to revert the physical resistance back to ward save when confederating.

Wait, so do I understand it right that Malus' base physical resistance gets converted back into ward save if you confederate him now? So if he gets confederated, it is as if the nerf never happened even without this mod?

I just converted the change to physical resistance back to ward save, the key for the AI is separate and 20% is how much it had been before when confederating him. I do think this makes sense since you don't have to manage possession when you confederate him.

@MelonFox, I also noticed that playing as Lokhir and confederating Malus, I guess it's intended but it's pretty stupid. Thanks for the mod, great job.

Thank you. It's actually kinda insane how incompetent people at CA are. All his enemies and pretty much all lords in the game have magical attacks.
