what's the mod that adds those very large gun looking structures next to the crucible? is that part of this mod?

You get any errors at all in your log? Also do you have a cloak installed? iirc the crucible is disabled while cloaking

it looked like a solution to my issue of too many animals like Archolopes, slowing my game into a crawl. sadly the crucibles dont seem to work, at all. no power draw as well as no heat draw even when the heat is almost maxed out. seems i did something wrong

Looks fun. I will definitely try this alternative for producing exotic particles. In SOS2 vanilla I have to raise alot of archolope, which causes lag like all other animals, also it's a pain in the ass each time I want to go to a new planet since archolopes can only be put into regular cryptosleeps.

It needs to be used alongside them. Heatsinks help remove heat, coolant tanks help increase the heat capacity, and the crucible produces exotic particles faster with heat but doesn't remove heat from the network.
