so while the sound will not be removed entirely i have lowered the sound a bit more and massivly decrease how often they make sounds.

I think the route would allow for the option to have sound or no sound in a simple checkbox. If I didn't have to listen to the droids, I would use this mod all the time.

Could we also get a continuation of "Terminator - Skynet Armory"? As it is similar to this one and I suppose it wouldn't be a big hussle... (I love both this and the one mentioned above)

The b2 super droid Wrist blaster has a Aim time of 5.8 seconds...dont know if that a bug too but it makes the b2 extremly bad. The b2 wrist cannon has a good fire rate but no punch behind it.

@Criz I checked it out and it is WAY better then before thank you for spending time and work on it.
After my test i must say at the beginning its okay and get worse after some time. If you want to play heavy with the droids that issue will hold this mod back in my opponion.

I think it will be way better to disable the sound of them or give a option in the mod to do it. I.

For my test i only use youre mod and the dependend mod Star wars Armory.

I hope he Mutes the Droids so i can play the mod longer. The b2 shot slower but should pack a punsh... dont know if it work or they need a fire rate buff

Hi i just wanted to say that i really like this mod and the effort you put in it. I just wanted to ask one thing because my B2 Super Battle droids are shooting really slow and i don´t know if this is a bug or if I´m doing something wrong. But still awesome work :steamthumbsup:

@chaos567 yeah you can't "resurrect" them you can however "repair" them its below all the other droid recipes in the gestator (if you have other mech mods i have no idea in what order it will be in)

i will look into the dwarf spider droid, lower the sounds a bit more and make them make noice less often

Hello, checked the mod and i resubscribed to it and downloaded it fresh. Nothing really changed its the same noises from the Droids and you cant resurect them....

Spider bot weapon is still missing.
Dont know if i did sth wrong but i cant figure it out.

Increased time between droid social sounds & and reduced the volume slightly
Fixed the repair recipes.

Changed the droids weapon loadouts, should now be more consistent.

Droids(mechs) dropping weapons is NOT vanilla behaviour and neither is mechs equipping from storage/ground. If either of those things is happening you have another mod active that causes that. This mod is not responsible for either things

it honestly sounds like a DMS thing so could be a soft compatibility issue but should still not be happening at all. (will add it to things to look into)

As far as i can remember you cant reequip them. I use a mod that pawns or mechs dont drop the guns or stuff when downed.

Great mod but a few problems. Dwarf Spider droid has no weapon, B2s fire incredibly slowly even with just the wrist mounted blaster and droids are very noisy and you cannot select their weaponry. Also lore based sounds would be nice like actual B1 voices.

Reorganizing the weapons and making sure the droids spawn with with appropriate weapons has been added to the list of things i need to look into.

will add in the "revive/rebuild" next update as well

list is getting pretty long... real life IS pretty busy tho so thank you all for your patience

I played the mod now for some Hrs and checked the droids. You cant rewive them on the Mechanitor tank, Demolition Droids spawn with random guns ( Blaster or grenades) Dwarf Spider dont spawn with a weapon at all and try to rush into melee.
You cant change or choose the loadout or weapons. If the B1 security Droid can spawn with a rocket Launcher that takes ages to get ready and shoot. The model Models look great and its amazing to have them as pawns. I used only the mod with the Armory and NO other mods to check the results. I have all the DLC for the game.

Thank you. I used the CIS start and the noise instandly starts after landing. Hope you can tune it or disable it I also cant rewive the b1 bots on the mechanitor Tank.

Short question why are the Droids so noisy? Is this the intended "Chatter". It get overwhelming when you have 5+ droids.

Hello, I made an ST droid and he decided to cook some simple meals but now the whole colony cant go 2 mins without puking and being sick from food poisoning. Is this intentional? Maybe they are such bad chefs. I will restrict him from going to the kitchen from now on:steamfacepalm:

just to be sure i just tested it and yes the "B1 Battle Droid" & the "B1 Security Droid" do "Haul"
IF they really don't you have another mod that interferes or you are running an old version.

i dont think any of the droids have "Cut" as a work type enabled BUT it would make sense for at least one of the droids to have it so i will figure out what droid would make the most sense.

as it is right now you need to research "advanced fabrication" but i will be moving them to the mechteck researches in the next update.

Tip Of The Day:
Did you know that the research tab has a search function in the upper righ corner where you can type in stuff to find it? for example B1, B2 or Droideeka.

@MinuteFat its funny you mention the DMS Sergeant's "mech relay ability" as it was incorporated a little over a month ago, 25 feb to be exact.

"battle droid commander" IS a sergeant/mech-relay (unless it broke? if thats the case please let me know)

Hmm...you've played with DMS (Dead Man's Switch) before, yes? To me, Commander B1s and Tactical Droids are nice, but it sure would be useful if they could act as actual command units, similar to how the relay mechs in DMS function. They are capable of moving outside of their mechanitor's range because they act like a psychically-linked signal repeater and have a lesser range of control, but nonetheless allow a mechanitor to split their forces into smaller fire-teams if necessary.

Ok I think the problem was Pawnkind Race Diversification (Continued). I removed it and the factions from this and the other two mods spawn fine. Insectoids and Merchant guild (VFE Medieval 2) still don't spawn but that might be unrelated, I'm going to test with just that too. Fun fact: The Mechadroid mod has the same problem, so I'm certain it must be something small.

I find this very odd as this mod does not change other faction spawns at all, so i wonder what mods you all have enabled that does create this problem.

Incidentally this mod has nothing to do with the "insect faction's" at all so thats really odd as well...

If you can find what mod/mods you are using that is conflicting with this mod i can look into the why it seems to be happening but as i dont use the same mods you are i dont have said conflict.
(what i'm saying is that the factions spawn as they should for me when I use this mod)

would very much appreciate it as i can either mark it as an incompatibilty or maybe make a fix so they work together

I confirm, this seems to be an issue with the LOTR fork mod too. I think it might be an incompatibility An error occurred when trying to spawn faction Insect. Looking at the error it seems to be a dead object ref unless I'm mistaken.
