@De Mon Good to know, thanks!
De Mon  [author] 17 Nov, 2024 @ 9:08am
@Tom G. this is very fair, I might add tooltips later. For now you can see effects in the game files directly (workshop folder -> common\modifiers\)

I love the idea behind this mod, but am a little confused by the second event with the axes. I can see where I can choose to make my court more Efficient vs. Spectacular on one hand or more Traditionalist or Innovative on the other, but the tooltips don't give me any idea what Efficient, Spectacular, Traditionalist, or Innovative actually do. I can't tell what the benefit of one over the other is other than the cost in prestige. Do you have a cheat sheet or guide somewhere with that information?
De Mon  [author] 17 Nov, 2024 @ 2:41am
@avVE correct
avVE 17 Nov, 2024 @ 2:38am
I assume one should only use one of these mods? either Court Reconcile or REvent?
De Mon  [author] 15 Nov, 2024 @ 9:02am
updated for 1.14
De Mon  [author] 9 Nov, 2024 @ 10:19am
@eztoom it depends on a specific mod. It does modify some of vanilla events
Lord 7 Nov, 2024 @ 4:10pm
Is this compataible with mods that add new court and hold court events? Does this modify any of the new previous events in vanilla?
Angelic Burrito 30 Oct, 2024 @ 12:35am
Well, yay! I'm still subbed here anyways.
De Mon  [author] 29 Oct, 2024 @ 4:21am
@Angelic Burrito, they just said that they were reworked, but I believe they are just replaced by some new unrelated events. No reason given
Angelic Burrito 28 Oct, 2024 @ 4:26pm
Huh, neat. Anyone know if paradox mentioned why in patch notes or explained what they want with events in dev diaries?
De Mon  [author] 25 Oct, 2024 @ 11:32am
@Angelic Burrito, a lot of them are, yes
Angelic Burrito 25 Oct, 2024 @ 7:26am
Referring to "good news 2", do you mean the silly events that this mod and your REvents mod changes are removed from vanilla?
De Mon  [author] 16 Oct, 2024 @ 3:44am
1.13 patch is online! Let me know if there are bugs, I have done some testing to catch the worst things, but cannot be too sure :)
De Mon  [author] 13 Oct, 2024 @ 4:39pm
hey folks!

Good news 1: I will release update next week, I'm almost done with going through the code, also need some testing

Good news 2: Paradox follows the mindset of the mod now! The stupid one-off jokes are being removed from the lists of triggered event, never to return.
De Mon  [author] 12 Oct, 2024 @ 2:17am
@avVE not yet. I hope to do it this weekend
avVE 11 Oct, 2024 @ 3:09pm
Has this fantastic mod been updated ?
De Mon  [author] 30 Sep, 2024 @ 3:22am
@maydap very fair! Also I have not updated it for latest ck patch yet, looking to do it over this week
maydayp 30 Sep, 2024 @ 12:30am
Crashed when added to my play list, probably due to incompatibility with other court related mods (I have 36 and counting. Troubleshooting a different issue)
De Mon  [author] 10 Sep, 2024 @ 7:35am
@aKonstance Makjavelī not surprised that it doesn't crash, but without proper file combining it wouldn't do much, esp if loaded before anu other mod
Konstance Makjavelī 10 Sep, 2024 @ 1:33am
Works (doesnt crash) with EK2, but doesnt seem to actually work as its meant to
Meisterstratege für Arme 15 Aug, 2024 @ 8:11am
Ah I see, now I at least know there is nothing wrong on my end
De Mon  [author] 15 Aug, 2024 @ 7:55am
@Meisterstratege fur Arme , they are just modifiers. Unfortunately I have very little experience in GUI modding, but maybe one day I will make them explicit :)
Meisterstratege für Arme 15 Aug, 2024 @ 6:48am
Sorry for asking, but are the court axes a visual thing or just a modifier. In my games, I have only been able to find the modifier and was therefore wondering if one of my other mods (e.g. RUI) broke the axes.
De Mon  [author] 14 Aug, 2024 @ 3:57am
@finallyciv Thanks! Feel free to create a submod for that :)

The affected and the new loc files are just in the localization/english folder of the initial mod.
finallyciv 14 Aug, 2024 @ 3:04am
Thank you for your answer! I would be very happy to contribute a German localization.
De Mon  [author] 14 Aug, 2024 @ 2:29am
@finallyciv , annoyingly, CK3 can't handle missing loc by just substituting English, so it is English only
finallyciv 14 Aug, 2024 @ 1:30am
What about localization and compatibility when played on a different language setting?
De Mon  [author] 6 Jul, 2024 @ 1:43am
@Notis Mi Crempie, thanks again for the feedback and the conversation!
NotisMiCrempie 5 Jul, 2024 @ 12:48pm
@De Mon Good to know, since i prefer Ai having same possibilities as player.

Ty for responses and I'll eagerly wait for AI part of the mod.
(Also thank you for fixing this boring mess Paradox called “events” since I use Revents, not rework one.)
De Mon  [author] 5 Jul, 2024 @ 9:12am
@Notis Mi Crempie Well spotted! In current iteration, ai (and also all tribal courts) don't have axes. I am planning to release next version after a while where ai can handle the mechanic based on their personality - similarly, for now tgey only get a middle boost from the first event. Both of these are due to the fact that I wanted to see how people will like the mechanics in general, before going full hog with assigning ai weights
NotisMiCrempie 5 Jul, 2024 @ 5:46am
@De Mon Also, I wonder: does AI able in any way change court axes?

Just started a campaign and noticed that AI realms have only modifiers from 1st hold court event.

Tried to run observer for a while also and still no axes change. I think mostly because AI lazy and don't want to hold court, but it's simpler to ask you than run 200 years simulation.
De Mon  [author] 4 Jul, 2024 @ 1:28am
@Notis Mi Crempie, thanks for the feedback! I am planning to tinker with the values more, but in general I think that big bonuses from the first events are mostly justified:

1) there is an offset big negative modifier;
2) you cannot repeat it in next five years without spending money;
3) (matter of taste) I prefer descisions to be impactful.
NotisMiCrempie 4 Jul, 2024 @ 1:19am
Is it just me or title creation cost buff on several court modifiers just too strong?
I mean, -40% gold cost IMO is inadequately high value for ~150 prestige, especially compared to Ceremonious pillar, which gives only -15%.
Maybe reducing those buffs like 2-4 times is a way to go?
De Mon  [author] 4 Jul, 2024 @ 12:36am
@CrusadeExterminator, cheers! :)

@pleasentbird, I've skimmed through the files, just place this mod before Dark Ages in the order - there is very small and insignificant overlap this way
pleasentbird 3 Jul, 2024 @ 4:00pm
How does this play with Dark Ages mod? Anyone know? Before I go and mess with my 80+ mod set-up and crash it for days on end....
CrusadeExterminator 3 Jul, 2024 @ 10:14am
This seems very nice, very good
De Mon  [author] 3 Jul, 2024 @ 12:11am
@Hans-Landa, I would expect that a comp patch is needed. Similarly to LOTR, I will make one if there is enough interest, or I can explain how to make it

@Ty of Troy, this is a consequence of the fact that executions affect court axes in the mod. You can circumvent this problem by loading Court Reconciled first
Ty of Troy 2 Jul, 2024 @ 10:09pm
this conflicts with the better execution mod. I tested it, with this mod enabled the executions from Better Executions are missing. How strange
Hans-Landa 2 Jul, 2024 @ 8:04pm
Is this compatible with Princess of Darkness?
De Mon  [author] 2 Jul, 2024 @ 12:27pm
@SnarlyCheese it would require a comp patch. If there is enough interest, I can make one, or I can explain how to make one if you want to try doing it yourself
jankosi 2 Jul, 2024 @ 4:11am
Neat, thanks
De Mon  [author] 2 Jul, 2024 @ 3:51am
@SnarlyCheese, I'm not sure, will look at it later

@jankosi, correct, REvents is the full package of my reworks
jankosi 2 Jul, 2024 @ 3:18am
If I get your REvents mod, I don't need to have this mod active to get this court rework, correct?
SnarlyCheese 1 Jul, 2024 @ 4:35pm
Would this work with LOTR mod?
De Mon  [author] 1 Jul, 2024 @ 3:46pm
@Ardúnadan, goddesscal I've tried to create an AGOT comp patch, should be working fine, but let me know if something breaks!

@mcaidenvl, Das Faux, thanks a lot for your support and kind words!
Ziege 1 Jul, 2024 @ 6:57am
wow i actually like doing court stuff now wth
mcaidenvl 30 Jun, 2024 @ 3:58pm
They need to put you in charge of events on the ck3 team lol.
De Mon  [author] 30 Jun, 2024 @ 2:10am
@goddessal it should be mostly compatible, but there are a few overlapping files which affect the court axes system. I will try and make a comp version soon
goddesscal 30 Jun, 2024 @ 1:06am
is this compatible with agot?
