@MrRubio correct, the tilled soil is direct from VE plants. I would have had to create my own tilled soil in order for it to be independent.

@Narrator every terrain it plants on has to be patched to do so, you just have to add the def of the terrain to the plantable list

Hey, been using this mod, Need a corn silo for all the corn im growing, but uh... The sowing option aint working for me. Idunno if maybe it's because of the "Tilled soil" floors i'm using, or what.

Could you add compatability with plants from regrowth series(cutting)+flooding more for terrain planting when wet soil?

Great QoL mod for big/multiple colonies. As it turns out, feeding 40+ colonists is a lot easier when you incorporate industrial machinery into agricultural operations.

I'd be interested to see this mod set a precedent for other work vehicles, like a tunnel-borer for mining or a crane truck for construction. Food for thought...

@Eng-Chasers the tractor does lose some product when harvesting, if you really wanted you can turn up the efficiency loss in the xml

also it cant be automated due to how vehicle ai functions, your gonna have to sow manually everytime

Hello! I have a suggestion. instead of the tractor being able to plow, plant and harvest, this should be handled by 3 separate machines. The tractor, a planter, and a combine harvester. I think having everything solved by a single machine may be a little op. Or you could use the new vehicle upgrades mod and make the sowing and harvesting an upgrade that needs to be crafted and installed in the tractor before it works

You can sow with a tractor and harvest with a pawn that has 20 plants skill.

after trying it out this literally takes away the importance of planting pawns and seems broken but when I think of how well actual Tractor helps human mass producing food...

I say it's lore accurate.

the costs are roughly (not accurately as i was abit generous) off what they would be in any vehicles parts mod

those vehicles are both more and less expensive then you think, the costs are just obscured by alot of small numbers, instead of 1 big number

its also A TRACTOR, those arent exactly expensive

I don't have VPEM so I didn't know that they also require VCE. Regardless, they need to be marked as requiring both VPEM and VCE.

@Hasarel isnt possible due to how vehicles work
@Arc you say that yet if the patch wasnt done this way, it was throwing errors
so no, the patch is fine, trust me when i say the reason its the way it is, is because mayrequires were not working correctly

as for rye and all that, wrong, it does need cooking expanded
those plants do not exist if cooking expanding is not installed, as they do not serve a purpose (flour) if it isnt installed

add Upgrades to this. have it start as a bare bone tractor and you have to add the functions
