i found a "bug" not really a bug but yeh if you start a new the parastie playthrough you sometimes spawn controlling a brawler lizard isnt of a blue lizard! kind off cool to me tho

i have an idea for a lizard the rain lizard a massive lizard that also hunts rain deer it ignores smaller creatures such as slugcats however if attacked it will do so itself theyre bites shouldnt have too much of a strong bite just incase so it doesnt oneshot raindeer it should be able to spit out dart maggots to weaken its prey it should hunt large prey however such as vultures red lizards etc scavs should attack these guys and it should attack em mainly cause scavs (i think) hunt rain deer as there skulls are in the tolls

I also feel like when and if I do this I'll add behavior to both the Hound and Copper Lizards that make them able to carry spears (eat them, in the Copper Lizard's case, and take them to a scavenger in the Hound's case)

I would make their behavior follow your reputation with scavengers if Lizard Customizer had the options within it to allow such a thing, but for now, yeah, they'll attack you if you're friends with scavs. I'm trying to learn how to use fisobs, and once I do, I'll probably revamp or update the mod with the renamed version of the Pitbull that'll actually follow said reputation system. also, for whatever reason, I can't get the scavenger spawnswaps to work, so they're primarily for fun in the arena mode now until i can get that issue sorted out.

Ahhh okay! Honestly in that case I'd probably just rename them to something similar. Scav Lizard, Hound Lizard, Dog Lizard, something like those maybe?

Also, out of curiosity; if you have a positive relationship w/ the Scavengers, will their lizards still try and attack you or slugpups?

The pitbull lizards weren't meant to be edgy, the one in the portrait is just snarling. If anything, the "edgy" lizard was the Tyrant Jaw, who I blatantly based off of deviljho. I felt like the joke would come off as goofy and all, I didn't expect such a negative response. I thought, "hey, scavengers don't exactly have the best track record when it comes to slugpups, maybe it'd be interesting if the lizards they have tamed would prefer those over the player?", but I am sorry if it came off as trying to be edgy to gain attention. It wasn't.

I'm gonna be honest, the Pitbull Lizard would've been fine if it wasn't blatantly designed to be edgy - and I mean that in a bad way.

It comes off as less of a unique, interesting creature and more of something that exists for the sole purpose of being "edgy" and intentionally made in bad taste. It doesn't make me really want to download or recommend the mod tbh.

odd. at that point it doesn't sound like an issue i caused with how the creatures function or how they spawnswap into the game. don't think there's anything i can do.

Firmly Grasp It has been pulling errors as well, but it's only this mod that's causing it- it's possible it's just Custom Centipede Maker in general, but I'm unsure. Upon entering / exiting rooms, if a centipede is present, the game starts to freeze.

@NeonCityRain i've tested all the creatures in arena mode while line of sight is on, were there any other mods you think could be causing a problem? The game looked fine.

as for why Line of Sight might not work, i'm not sure. I'll look into a fix or why the problem is happening.

i think the pitbull lizard would be nice to tame, i think ill tame one and name it "cupcake" :)

This mod seems to freeze a ton when used with Line of Sight. And ngl, the pitbull thing seems to be in REAL bad taste

also, as a note, the blood mod commonly conflicts with lizard customizer based additions to the game. they'll freeze the game temporarily if they're hit with a rock until you give them a blood color in the remix menu settings. it doesn't effect centipede customizer creatures, however, as, from what i can understand of it, since they use another creature file as a sort of base, thus taking all mod interactions from them? not sure.

@pinkus on the issue of spawnswapping, you can go to the mod folder you get when you subscribe and remove the text from the "SpawnSwaps" folder, if you want to turn the spawns off.

i don't like it because whenever i try to edit spawns it doesn't work and i don't like have lizard customizer or custom centipede maker creatures spawning

simple spawn swapper is what i'm using to spawn them, why the disdain for it?
