Well, don't want to dig to figure what happen. Glad that is solved.
Vas 29 May @ 8:36pm
How strange, my water sources came back after I updated Dirt a second time. Must have been some kind of glitch in the first update attempt.
alin_2015_todor  [author] 29 May @ 8:34pm
Was a problem with dirt mod on stable version of the game, but has crashing the game. If you have an older save, you can try reverting to it, but weak hope. Can use AutoSave mod to increase game autosave numbers, to have a greater chance , in the future, to recover the save.
Vas 29 May @ 8:25pm
But they do have it... I never dug underneath any of them. I started this save only a few days ago. I was playing it yesterday.
alin_2015_todor  [author] 29 May @ 7:53pm
Dev's added a restriction into the game, Water sources must have continuous terrain suport from the bottom of the map.
Vas 29 May @ 7:12pm
Save File destroyed. Somehow when three mods updated, my water sources get deleted on game load. This is one of them. TimberUI is the other, and "Dirt" is the third. (Copy paste from the other mod I posted this on)

Its highly unlikely however that this was the cause, but I thought I'd mention it. I know that this is just a simple recipe mod though.

Sorry, with no information or no crash log, cannot help.
IchWillDenMistNicht 29 May @ 2:57pm
Sorry, the mod crashes my game.
alin_2015_todor  [author] 22 May @ 2:01am
Thank you. In U7 is indeed needed, glad that I continue maintaining this mod.
nnnnnneko2016 22 May @ 1:15am
Love your mod, really!I can use dirt to create ground in earlier period!Your mod is very helpful,thanks!!:steamhappy::steamhappy:
alin_2015_todor  [author] 21 May @ 11:26am
Lumber Mills recipes are now toggleable (water dump style)
NovaWyrm 21 May @ 1:29am
Its just unfortunate it seems yours is the ONLY mod that allows the player to make natural overhangs. I suppose I'll try to look into learning modding myself to see if I can make it happen. I'm simply just uninterested in cluttering my game with more recipes that I don't want, just to have the cosmetic overhang I do want.

Thanks for the reply regardless, keep up the great work.
alin_2015_todor  [author] 20 May @ 11:01pm
The mod also change the IT recipes for hydrophonic gardens to use dirt, so, would mean to use algea and mushroom only after excavator has been build. The idea of the mod is to have some earlier source of dirt in game, and now is more desired considering the 3D terrain. So, it could be possible to have a separate mod, but unlikely. Nobody will force you to use a recipe that don't want.
NovaWyrm 20 May @ 9:59pm
Would it be possible to have a version of the mod that doesn't have the extra dirt recipes, but just the ability to build natural overhangs?

I don't mind getting dirt naturally, and find the extra dirt recipe to be a little OP and a little inconvenient having to select recipes for something I don't normally. But I'd still really like to build with the natural overhangs, and as far as I can tell yours is the only mod out there that does this.

Still, noone know why the fix is working :steamhappy:
navad108 27 Apr @ 12:14pm
It's all good now. Thank you! You are awesome!

Fixed the issue with Vanilla Natural Overhangs missing from editor
navad108 17 Apr @ 8:50am
Beside the overhangs not showing up in the editor, all the overhangs I placed on my map after the 7.4 update were missing. I think that since they replaced overhangs with the terrain blocks for older maps, the new overhangs maybe have a different identifier? My map is in the workshop called '[U7} The Grand Gorge' and with dirt enabled the overhangs get removed both in the map editor and playing map.
alin_2015_todor  [author] 16 Apr @ 8:32am
YA, in map editor need to disable the dirt.mod Not yet able to find a solution.
navad108 16 Apr @ 7:57am
With the newest updates the Dirt mod will remove natural overhangs - even though they were added back into the game. A newer map with them will just remove them. Looking forward to an update that will make this compatible.

Looking forward to your update.

Dirt mod just has been updated with suport for Emberpelts. Check with the latest mod version. And, on the first mod screen, press the sort button (only need once to do this), so, dirt mod to be loaded after the Emnberpelts mod.

Crash when using Dirt mod and Emberpelts mod
Josiah the Wolf 12 Feb @ 4:41pm
So I've ran into an interesting pathing issue that I believe is caused by having a mix of natural overhangs and the stone overhangs from this mod. I restored the stone aqueduct on the Meander map using your stone overhangs, and using dirt blocks for the side walls. I'm currently overhauling the whole thing, which means blowing up the dirt blocks. But I noticed that 5 of the dynamite didn't get placed. Clicking on the missed explosives, it said they were out of range even thought there was a path one square away. Also, the dynamite were not all in a row. 2 were in the middle of the run and the other three were on the end. Both groups were above your stone over hangs while the ones that were placed were over natural overhangs. If you place a path to the missed explosives they are in range. Currently on the experimental branch with U7. I'm not sure if this make sense. I can share pictures or the save file to the Discord group if you are interested.

ladykathleen, add the More Group mod. Will enable that items (without that mod, will be hidden under dev mode, to preserve space on the menu)
ladykathleen 14 Jan @ 11:47am
Can you add the Stone wall and Overhangs to work with the Greedy Builders. I can find the slope and can make the dirt in the lumber mill, but it is missing the Stone wall and Overhangs
alin_2015_todor  [author] 4 Jan @ 9:53am
Added dirt recipes for lumbermills to Emberpelts faction
alin_2015_todor  [author] 3 Jan @ 3:11am
Lightcaster , slope , stone wall and stone overhangs are available for Emberbelts. To add dirt recipes to lumbermills is impossible since Emberpelts use own prefab's .
Lightcaster 3 Jan @ 2:27am
any way we could get this working with Emberpelts?
alin_2015_todor  [author] 5 Dec, 2024 @ 10:47pm
Is under dev mode to not clog the menu. You must use More Group mod to be visible on the normal game mode and to have space to breath on the menu, mainly if you use a lot of Knatte mods.
merlock acemann 5 Dec, 2024 @ 5:56pm
Ok, I found them. Kinda.
They are in the mod terrain tab, but they're hidden as dev items.
merlock acemann 5 Dec, 2024 @ 5:36pm
Where are the stone overhangs? I can't find them anywhere, but the slopes and new dirt recipe is there so the mod should be working.
alin_2015_todor  [author] 26 Oct, 2024 @ 9:47am
YA, it's a drawback that I have to solve the issue with be walkable when is not built. That's is now only with impermeable floor and not blocking water. If you have issue that will ruin you map, revert to version 1.70 Will try to find a way to solve.
Regi Mahler 26 Oct, 2024 @ 7:57am
Hi, I just updated to 1.71.1 and water is seeping through these now
alin_2015_todor  [author] 12 Oct, 2024 @ 7:55pm
YA, since it blocks water and have impermeable floor. And, guess that I make stone orverhangs not water proof, so will require impermeable floor to be placed. That's due to a game script that make instant path during overhang construction (with crazy effects)
Kaeul 12 Oct, 2024 @ 4:11pm
I noticed the Stone Walls require Treated Planks instead of Planks like the overhangs. Is this intentional? Thank you for the mod.
alin_2015_todor  [author] 5 Sep, 2024 @ 6:51am
All mods that involve buildings are crashing. We are workink on a fix.
NeoRider7 5 Sep, 2024 @ 6:46am
Today's game update broke this mod. This mod needs to be updated.
Enginerd 26 Aug, 2024 @ 9:03am
Perhaps add some of what it unlocks in the description for dummies like me?
Or a name update if even possible? "Earlier Dirt + Landscaping" would have made more sense to me at least.
Feel free to copy + paste if i understood correctly

Function - Unlocks earlier Dirt production with an alternative, selected not mandatory, 'Eco' lumber mill recipe; Logs + Water >> Planks + Dirt

This allows earlier access to things like Iron Teeth Mud Bath, or the dirt block for landscaping.

Asset Unlocks:
Adds Dirt-related Landscaping assets from the Map Editor to be used within game-play instead of just for map editors for a more natural look.

- Stone Overhang 2x1
- Stone Overhang 2x2
- Stone Overhang 2x3
- Stone Overhang 2x4

These assets require Dirt, Planks, and Metal to build.
These assets are SOLID and therefore can be built on.
These assets are affected by water (irrigation), but DO NOT allow for planting of Trees or Crops; planting requires additional Dirt blocks to be placed on top
alin_2015_todor  [author] 25 Aug, 2024 @ 9:11pm
Enginerd, the mod was designed to allow dirt production in earlier stage of the game (for IT, as example, to be able to have MudBath), and now contains all possible stuffs related to dirt, Stone overhangs and Slope are stuffs from editor made available into the game. What do not exist in editor, only in game, is the stone wall (somehow it reacts to moisture, even is not plantable)
Enginerd 25 Aug, 2024 @ 2:26pm
@Alin_2015_todor - confused by the mod name and description vs the picture provided
Is this essentially the STONE (not dirt) overhangs from the map making tools but brought into the playable side of the game?

So essentially it's like the new overhangs but with a more natural look to the stuff youre building?

Further, this now allows for earlier, easier dirt making in some way or is the big dirt digger thing still needed?

OR is this just making dirt, at a slower rate than the 'end game' dirt digger mentioned above, as a by-product from the lumber mill with a different recipe? IF SO, what is the picture of the STONE overhangs for?

sorry for the confusion, i just don't understand this mod without having downloaded etc
alin_2015_todor  [author] 20 Aug, 2024 @ 1:26pm
If I miss something in the mod description, let me know, to add.
Geno 17 Aug, 2024 @ 6:55pm
Bro can you please write what this mod does in the description.
oliverrook 6 Aug, 2024 @ 4:40am
That's why you have to suggest it to them?
alin_2015_todor  [author] 6 Aug, 2024 @ 12:31am
Guess you have not update the mod. Force the verification of integrity of game files, will also update all mods from workshop. Dirt block is no longer available in the mod, you have now stone walls (impermeable to water and Stone overhangs [2X1, 3X1 and 4X1)
Vas 5 Aug, 2024 @ 12:54pm
So placing dirt blocks won't work? Or irrigating it won't work?
alin_2015_todor  [author] 4 Aug, 2024 @ 6:58pm
Not possible while soil system is 2D.
oliverrook 4 Aug, 2024 @ 1:55pm
Perhaps suggest this as an api change to the devs?
alin_2015_todor  [author] 2 Aug, 2024 @ 7:38pm
It's correct, something to become soil, needs to be applied soil transformation method, but will fall onto a piece of soid that already exists.
