as you said, the temptation is something to take into consideration, and when developing games, or mods, a developer should not allow for players to tweak the intended experience, and it will strive from the optimal immersion and balance. players should be guided on the right path by the creators, and not given the possibility to cheat, because, if cheating is in the game, then its not cheating.. and it just ruins the experience..
this mod does not make the item INFINITELY good, it just makes it so that the item does not break once it reaches 0% durabiliy (as that is annoying), however, it stops working and "defending dmg" if its low. so its not a cheat mod.
the item recharges its durability passively. (vanilla)
