Thanks for understanding. Hope that portraits are working properly now. I have a strong feeling that it's because of the capitalization of png file format (otherwise, I'll have to experiment further with the saving of the png files; I'm using GIMP, if that matters). If so, big thanks to CharlieChap for pointing me to the right direction.

And oh my, just looked at the file format. Could it be that it’s because they’re in “.PNG” in all caps? If so, I deeply apologize. Will fix in a few hours. I’m not on my computer right now.

But I’m curious, why is it working on my end and others I’ve asked though? Anyway, CharlieChap could be right. Again, sincere apologies.

I uninstalled base game and all 85 mods, reinstalled game with just this mod only - same result - no portraits.

I have the same problem Morianthi as Andrew. My guess would be that some aspect of your picture format maybe problematic with certain graphic sttings. eg there are a lot of different formats to even a basic png image.

I am trying various methods, deactivting mods, then starting new game to see if the portraits are visible. I have validated game install via steam.

Any tips on how I can find the issue? Final resort will be backing up save games and re-installing the game + mods.

@andrewswelch If you want, I could give you how to do make the mod yourself. That way it's sure to work on your machine.

You mean to say the portraits still don’t work for you? Hmm.. Can you unsubscribe and subscribe again? I see no reason why it shouldn’t work. I directly changed the game values/properties, so it’s a very straightforward approach that should work and shouldn’t conflict with anything.

Merc info and inventory work (love it btw!)- but not the face cards, e.g. the exploration/combat face icons and in AIM.

I don't know what could be causing the issue, but a different foolproof approach has been adopted, which should work flawlessly.

Tested it on new game, same result, no card headshots - it might be a mod clash? Mods installed: multi-IMP, merc all available start, show nationality, expanded perks - but not sure why these would clash

@andrewsrwelch Think it should work as intended, but whatever the case is, for the next update (hopefully by tomorrow), will do the safest approach with perfect chance of success :) Credit to Sir Ni and svetlio.

@andrewsrwelch That's odd. It's working fine with existing saves on my end, both in-game and in-game browser portraits included. Our in-house tech wiz also confirmed that it should work fine as it is just UI.

No promises though.

So it's not save game compatible? But it runs fine when you start a new game, right? I haven't tested with existing saves tbh. I'll ask someone more competent who could look at the code to make it work with existing saves.

So it works for their Merc Info - their new heads imposed onto bodies - that works perfectly. But their cards are all blank, both in-game and in-game browser (i.e. when you try to hire them)

It does not seem to be save game compatible. I loaded this in a current playthrough and all their face cards are blank (no heads).

Can you make this compatible / dont have to start new game?
