Thats not even a tenth of a percent. That means that 99.9% of the world isn't Finnish. How do we know this? Government censuses.

Now the best government censuses have a margin error of about 1%. So Finns make up .0912% of the planent, plus or minus 1%.

In conclusion: There's a 50/50 chance that Finland doesn't exist.

UA Sisu, bonus combat strength in friendly territory , UB Sauna replace Monument give 2 culture 1 faith 1 happiness, UU Ski infantry, bonus to combat and movement in tundra and snow. Would be more like Finland

Managed to hold against russia during ww2 pretty good. Also Mannerhaim was a good diplomatic leader, allied with Nazi germany without being hated by britain and usa, who even supported them a bit.
I approve of the sauna change btw.

Replace Suomenlinna with Sauna (like unique Monument that gives faith).

Also add coastal start bias

This whole thing needs a change. Trait should be called Sisu and I think that "Suomenlinna" is not that special so it should be something else. I would recommend somekind workshop wich gives production boost for forest tiles next to rivers because logs were mainly transported to sawmill by "surfing" on logs when there wasn't trucks to do that.

yeah, i agree with Supersofty. The map is incorrect for year 1917. When Finland became independent that year, parts of Karelia, Salla and Petsamo belonged to Finland. They we're lost in 1944, but obviously should be marked as blue in this map.

Why does Finland get fighting bonus in tundras, which Finland has NONE, and not in forests, which Finland has MANY?
Also what does hunting tent has to do with Finland?!

@AtomicPigu. Because Hypereon already made a Finland mod before me, his mod has sauna and ski infantry so I didn't want to just copy his mod.

@Supersofty so there 2 areas are are blue on my map, but where not finnish in 1917 ? Or the other way around :P ?

@daylightendm there is karelia and petsamo area missing. karelia was very fertil and petsamo still has one of the biggest nickel deposits (thats why the russians took it) check old maps in google =)

@Phillip Broyles, you subscribe to it on this page. Then you start civ 5. In the main menu you click "mods" and it should download the mod after a second or 2. Then you click the checkbox next to this mod and play.

Hakkapeliitat are finnish people so you should add them

robertjones01, do you have BNW ? if so, something might have gone wrong with the YNAEMP reference. If so I'll have to fix that.

If BNW is the missing dependency thats because I used code for the trait that requires BNW, I'll try to find a workaround in the future :)

When i try to activate the mod it says 'Mod is missing required dependencies'. Anyone know how i can fix this?

Yes Merhunes Dagon, in the current version of the mod you need the BWN expansion. That is because how I coded the 25% production bonus when at war. If i find a workaround I will update so that the mod only requires vanilla.

Allright, all maps in YNAEMP that feature Finland (earth maps and europe maps) work with this mod now.

If you start a custom game with YNAEMP and pick giant world, Finland will appear at the bottom of the civilization selection. I made a mistake when I patched the mod for YNAEMP so that it only works on the giant world. Fix incomming :P
