Omg thank you for this mod! I've been messing around with a Cybernetic creed empire since getting the DLC about a week ago and was bummed I couldn't be egalitarian

Thanks so much for the answer! That's honestly really cool.

Great question! In the file "origin_events_machine_age.txt", the code for the Cybernetic Creed events can be found. On line 637, code can be found that references the Shared Burdens civic: "has_civic = civic_shared_burden".

This particular code allows you to take the "Tithe of Labor" choice regardless of what creed you choose (it is normally restricted to the Unified Creeds and Commune of Toil). This option gives you 5% extra resources from Workers and fits thematically with Shared Burdens.

My testing revealed no mechanical conflicts with any of the Egalitarian civics. It's possible they considered the ritualistic implants and Haruspex job for Spiritualists only to be too unfair to the other pops. As the Egalitarian ethic implies, all citizens in such a society can rise to any position with enough work, so a society where only Spiritualists get some traits/jobs would not be Egalitarian.

What code does it have that references shared burdens? I'd be really interested in what you think they made the choice to bar Egalitarian.
