It's a shame you can't force weapons to be equipped on a character when you imprint.
I'd love a Kratos Origin where you spawn with the Dual Wield skill and Shuriken Arc, with both Blades of Chaos on when you get out of the bus.

But the downside being you cannot physically remove the blades in any way, dropping or inventory failing to work.
But you could still stow them on your back to use other weapons.
