I have not worked on any of my mods since the newest update, have recently started a new job so finding time is a hassle, I will set up a game this week and try and replicate this to see what I can do to solve this issue, but no you are correct it should not be doing that, it should convert the correct people over to whatever religion you have.

For some reason I cannot as a Reformed Asatru king use the converting war on the normal Asatru rulers. Is that one purpose?

rushzel: Do you mean a dynasty member of your players house or one of another house? I dont see why it shouldnt be possible but having some more clues on how it would work will help.

could you do a war against a foreign ruler to install a dynasty member as the new ruler

it begins to happen almost immediately after reloading a save

Crimson: its something I'll look into, I have some of those same mods installed, havent ran into any stuttering involving having those active and my own, I will however look to see if I can make a compatibility patch to see if it helps, if you leave your game and reload your save do you still experience the same stutter immediately or is it gradual?

so i have 50 something mods installed, but have found that out of all of them either this mod or the your line dies with you mod cause the game to stutter quite a lot after about 4 or five years makes the game unplayable because most of the time i would be sitting waiting for the game to unstutter, dont know why, maybe this is due to a conflict and the only mods i have that i think would conflict with them is more interactive vassals, great empire wars or border disputes mod, or maybe it's just because the mods add new casus bellis and so more wars would be happening as a result and more wars equals more lag, dont know why that would cause the game to stutter this way though

Turtle: have not forgotten about your input, working on feature for another mod right now, will jump on this hopefully by then end of the week, have a few ideas but we'll see.

IMO, it should either be to convert or abdicate... but come on, Zealous characters won't convert even if you torture them.

Turtle, I can look into maybe giving a percentage of conversion based on what traits, education and skill level they have. I understand not everyone would be wiling to convert so I agree that there should be some chance that they don't, but since it is a war to "force" the enemy to convert, there should still be a chance they do regardless if they are zealous or any of they other you mentioned. Thank you for your input, I will look into implementing some of your suggestions and have a update posted this week hopefully!

The ruler should be given the option to either convert or lose his titles. It's unrealistic for a Zealous character to convert in any situation, as well as for a Christian to convert to a cannibal cult, or a Hedonist cult to convert to Islam and abstain from alcohol. You could even weight the conversion chance based on his traits. For instance, a homosexual ruler who is Lustful would want to convert to a religion that accepts homosexuality.
