anyone have an idea i have no sound or upcoming airdrops

Я не могу понять. AirdropPositions.ini должен быть пустой с самого начала и в нем записываются все упавшие дропы, или в нем заранее прописаны координаты возможных точек спавна. лично у меня он пустой и ни одного дропа я не нашел.

also finding the loot a little underwhelming ... would be awesome to have a loot config in the sandbox settings ... tee up your own mix of med, mil, build supplies etc
also being able to loot and use the parachute would be cool

So i have no issues finding the airdrops but I do seem to have trouble opening them or interacting with them. They seem to be vehicles with mechanic screens of airbags and trunk but no other options to open or any green vehicle interaction boxes where i should stand to open the trunk.

If i beat on the drop i see the trunk breaks but no loot drops out.

am i missing something?

Man these things are near impossible to find and not fuckin worth it

I checked the coordinates in the debug and the airdrop was just wayy too far. When I checked the airdrops loot it only contained; two hunting camo pants, 3 water purification tablets, 4 water ration cans, a box of antibiotics and 3 canned mushroom soup. I believe the reward for driving around 40-30 irl minutes should be bigger than that, there's also a chance for the airdrop to spawn right on a huge horde of zombies. My main problem isn't the location but more so the loot.

it would be really nice and convenient if you added more information on where the airdrop is, as its really hard to find the location and i feel stupid for wandering around with no clue in the world

Bro you could make this compatible with some mods or something.

That or simplify making a loot table like other modders do.

This is too good of a mod to neglect. I can't think of a better idea for a air drop mod than making customizing the loot table easy or just making compatibility with general gun and armor mods.

I think A LOT more people would be behind this if that was a part of the deal.

На данный момент присутствуют стандартные пресеты для позиций и лута в аирдропе - их можно найти на гитхабе мода, в папке Examples. Они уже встроены в мод и с ними ничего дополнительно делать не надо, но их можно использовать в качестве примера при создании собственных пресетов - гайд можно найти на вики на гитхабе мода

Сейчас для дропа нужно прописывать, где он будет спавниться и что в нём будет? Если да, есть ли готовый файл с настройками для ванильной игры? Если нет, как узнать где он упал?

Airdrop spawn positions have defined coordinates. You will see the message if you're not close enough to the drop point (about 200 tiles) - otherwise you'll hear airplane sound positioned on the airdrop

How far away the drops are likely to fall from where you get the plane message?

Airdrop despawn is configurable in sandbox settings (default is 24h iirc). And yes, North is on top of the map
For now, you can use military frequency - there'll be a broadcast telling where they're going to send an airdrop

I presume North is up on the map when you switch from Isometric.

Can we get an idea of how far away the drops are likely to fall from where you get the plane message? Is likely to be walking distance? I've been driving around for several days and not seen a thing.

Also, how long before drops despawn?

it takes into account the isometric view, south is not just down as in the bottom of your screen

I think they implemented a compass or someone did from any of the mods I use but South is the bottom right corner

So, I was in an open field that went on forever and it said an airdrop fell south of me, I head south, nothing. Is the directions here actual correct directions or is it taking into account the isometric view and "south" is actually south of our screens and not ACTUAL south?
