@Linkerlink, this mod should be compatible with "engine" mods. Take that with a grain of salt, but, this mod should only conflict with mods that change other aspects of the audio.
Such as missile sounds, gun sounds, aps sounds, etc.

This is gunna sound real dumb cause it says is incompatible with any sound mod, but does this apply to mods that affect engines?

@Miso Strange: I'll be getting back into From The Depths mod development in a few weeks, I've been extremely busy with work recently so I haven't gotten the chance to add more sounds! I haven't checked if Rambot guns can be changed but it may be possible along side the advanced installation.

This mod is great. I don't know if its within the scope of this mod or not but is it possible to replace the sounds of the player character (/rambot) guns? They're so loud and I'm having trouble finding information about it myself, so I've been unable to do it.

I love this mod, buit would it be possible to replace the 330mm to 500mm sounds with new sounds as well? I think that 500mm cannons should have a loud CRACK that splits open the air followed by a loud reverberating rumble that slows dies down. You can look to the battleships in world of warships as an example, last time I checked the high caliber gun sounds were pretty good.

This mod is so feggin awesome. I'm hoping for some "Speed of sound" effects where if your bullet is moving supersonic you don't hear the cannon fire until after the bullet hit you.

Yoda, if I could add a bunch more sounds for different power levels, charge times and others, I definitely would. But that's out of the scope of this mod, I have no idea how to code xD

I think it'd be cool if the particle cannons had some kind of additional snap to them at larger charge times, something invoking lightning. Currently they're too low and quiet for their strength.

Mememan, I appreciate the feedback! The preview video audio wasn't edited/processed and represent what the guns sound like IN GAME. The sound design can be subjective to everyone that listens to it. Personally, I think they fit nicely in game.
Although of course, some designs can certainly be improved over time. Thanks for commenting!

the previews probably don't represent the mod as it is in game, but my one piece of feedback is that the weapons don't feel like you are shooting a tank or naval cannon but some small firearm. same with the frag impacts and explosions, it all feels flat.

Boss, yes, overwrite your "Sounds" folder in your data directory with the new folder inside the mod. This "updates" your sounds with my designed ones.

i meant 305mm+ Pineapple. i like the gun sounds btw :D they have a punch now with the reverb and metal and mechanical sounds most large guns make

With the aps sounds reworked with the recent patch we should click save to new folder button again to overwrite the changes and then move the aps sound files in the streaming folder again right?

Verifying Gamefiles WILL bring back the old sound files if intentional or not, so make sure to overwrite the "Sounds" folder with mine before launching the game!

Tachyon, you need to overwrite your mod folder each update. Follow the installation steps to update! You have to go through FTD's mod downloader to update. It's manual in a sense.
