Hi, thanks for the mod.

1. You are missing an empty line at the end of your mod. This will make the game never read the last line. It might make your last event not trigger as the game can't find the "endevent".

2. You don't need to define two Arachnid Princess monsters. You could just use spawnoffs to let both Matriarch versions spawn the same monster.

It took 44, almost 45 years, 30 seconds+ of load time per turn, 2.3 million spiders drowned, 4.5 million spiders lost in combat, and most of a couple of days. But I BLOODY DID IT! Now, looking at the stats, I will say, it LOOKS impressive, but I honestly think for the cost it's far to weak. It can be easily sniped by mid tier magic, though it is nasty to deal with for most physical based creatures. I just feel like it would get wiped out by a good mage army, or even a mage enforced army. I haven't tested it, I need sleep. But it's cost versus what it can do, means it would be so late in the game, that by the time this comes in, if you haven't won, the enemy should have enough magic to defeat or capture it, that you should have just focused on winning.

Personal thoughts, NO idea if it's accurate. But either way, I did it, and I am happy.

also the ant queen mod does just give the queen a army teleport to primal

There is primal aura that sacred moose have. and the primal gods do put totems into it, but also just a portal could work but your askin for a fight

also something that is a signifigant upgrade, but matriarch needs way into primal plane or icons that can make primal spiders .

It could be the long modifier on their web is causing an issue.
you might have an easier time just making it a rangedweapon instead of a meleeweapon.

Also I don't know why but trap door spiders have a very low range. Even thought it says the web spray is around 8 tiles, its more like 1-3.

This was a fun mod until mist of confusion from MY OWN QUEENS destroyed my doom stack. >:(

sidenote: special hatchery's will eventually become places to recruit specialized units, like for an example if i created a fire spider hatchery then you could hire fire spiders from that tile.

@Curious roaming thicket spiders are default aside from the ones i created, as for multiplayer, i have no idea. never played it with a friend.

Trapdoor spider seems reallllly strong defensively, with the curse+decay+entanglement, burst 4, 8 range, on a 1x1 sized unit. I'm glad they're immobile, need to test it some more

Would you happen to know if this version works in multiplayer? I know it's seemingly random if it works or not, only asking if it's been tried or not

thought i'd let everyone know, im working on an update thats gonna bring new spider units. just know my art style is kinda bad but so far the first unit looks decent in-game in my opinion.
