@hestaby316 That's odd... because those books are intended to giving Imperial Cult to the reader. Let me check it after I wake up - it's 5 am in my time and I have to go to bed XD

Found that to read the books they first need: Imperial belief. But to get imperial belief they need to read a book(which they will not). Found this out using character editor and giving a pawn the imperial belief health diff.

No errors - ran just the MiM series of mods on clean install of Rimworld. Colonists will still just pick the book up and then drop it again. All other books and schematics they will sit and read normally.

@hestaby316 Hmm... is there any error log on it? I'll also check at my end but I haven't been touched book's source code for a while... so many be some sort of mod conflict with other mod that changes book or reading behavior.

Ran into a problem with the books/ministorum bibles? Colonists will read any other books normally. As in sit down, open the book and read for awhile. But the ministorum books - they just go to a desk or chair and put the books down. Then go do something else.

@fat cat Well, before as a modder, I'm a crazy fanboy of all kind of WH40k themed mod XD And you know, the original concept of my mod, Mod integration mod, started from collections of patch operations for other WH40k mod, so I'm always happy when new WH40k mod comes in or came back from long sleep :D

One of my friend give me one tip , like vanguad skitarii should have a radiation aura (something like leadership aura but debuff) , maybe for admech/everyone who in power armour should be something what mostly didnt touch them but for average peoples , especially naked radiation should affect strongly. It will slowly killing person , maybe like in lore vanguad admechs should VERY VERY SLOWLY but dying from it too

if you talking about Legiones Astartes Primarch , it worthless. Like single mod by one author without fully re converse in warhammer from 1 author (so that meant normal balance between mods). I personaly didnt even think you should consider this mod as some kind of competition etc

@fat cat For Chaos, since the legendary Legiones Astartes mod has came back to rimworld, so they have lower priority to me - I don't think I can make something better than that mod :(

They have a diffenrece but mainly in the tech not personal equipment so maybe yeah for rimworld it not very useful
(main difference is simple they same as iron warrios based not at machine spirit but on forging/trap demons inside they tech)

@fat cat The difficult point of Dark Mechanicum is they don't have any single bit of miniature, even for 30k. So far what I've know, it's just a color scheme changed version of mechanicum.

Also what about give a chaos corruption a status effect like sororitas have faith effect in they health bar , it will stack from carry a chaos touched items (what also make little bit more lore proof to someone whos wiling to use chaos weapons as loyalist). And for example chaos corruption firstly may give a strong debuffs but when stacked too much start giving buffs

Transonic blade https://warhammer40k.fandom.com/wiki/Transonic_Weapons?so=search (it lore it something like necron blades , a thing whos penetrate almost everything but maybe it will have noticeable lesser damage )
Radium Jezzali https://warhammer40k.fandom.com/wiki/Radium_Weapons?so=search , same with phosphor maybe you should create a radiation effect whos will be stacking from hits of radium weaponary. This is just +- average riflle with radium effect
Radium Carbine is more fast but lesser range varios and lesser damage than jezzali
Also admech axes , i saw you wench from orkz that is good idea like weapon who give you buffs but also it from average version should have some kind of heavy/more combat version

Also all list of most used Admech weapons cuz usually you do a lots of dakka
Ryza Plasma (likely to be VERY UNIQUE from average plasma , in lore they likely the most reliable plasma at all but used only by admechs)
Arc Rifle/Pistol https://warhammer40k.fandom.com/wiki/Arc_Weapons (close to machine gun weapon or assault rifle shoot with elecricity something like sprite of very thing lightning and it likely cast EMP damage or something speical
Galvanic Rifle (they dealt FIRE DAMAGE or burns)
Macro Stubber (can be pistol , rifle, machine gun or whatever you want) or something like that , it just very advanced stubbers used by tech acolyte or another low rang admechs
Phosphor serpenta (https://warhammer40k.fandom.com/wiki/Phosphor_Weapons?so=search) a pistol whos shoot bulltet from Phosphor likely to stack something like nurgle rot but Phosphor , cuz it something like acid/poison effect.

About Sydonian Skatros i dont think it even worthy to do ( but if looking at past you likely make every minis what even GW have lol )
And admech didnt even mention once if i remember well as genestealers , and it understable cuz bionics for humans likely to kill them and half of they brain was changed (where most of primal instincts) so even if they somehow became genestlears they wont be very usefull.

If shortly about what types of magos maybe should try to add
Magos Biologis/Genetor (Usually they have less implants but lots of biological improvements)
Magos Dominuos (The one who lead skitarii and specs on producing weaponary)
Fabricator General/Archmagos as leader in ideology
Magos Logis (Basically they specs on math and graphics, in rimworld it can be research specialist)
Magos Artisan (Building specialist/Craft it very optional maybe)
And Electro priest as psyker/mage of mechs

Idk why you thought about ranger on long legs , basically in lore skitarii adamantium legs only half of legs and they didn't longer , also they mostly covered by robe. If creating in game you mostly needed only those types
Ranger Skitarii (Arc Rifle, Galvanic Jezzali, maybe power mace of mechs)
Vanguard Skitarii ( Rad Carabine)
Alpha Skitarii (Ryza plasma pistol/full gun + Transonic blade)
Skitarii Primus (Mostly every type of weapon except power axe and rad Carabine)
(Also I think if you will creating admech mod add archotech various of all basic imporlants)Also optional is Archotech Skitarii version of ranger and vanguard, and last type Is very considering too it Titanicus or just guard of titans , they mostly same vanguard Skitarii but with Ryza plasmas and heavier armour.
Also if looking not only at skitarii

@fat cat At first I'm not using discord unless it is really necessary to get some mod since I really hate the way of how those the enclosed community works. Instead, you have community wishlist thread on Core mod.

Secondly, adding Adeptus Mechanicus is technically difficult because of those long-leg skitarii and other not warcasket but not a normal pawn kind of models. I'm looking for AOBA's mobile worker framework for 1.5 as a candidate.

Also, need bit of research on each divisio cause I really know the least of them as they are not my favored faction.

Thirdly, I didn't add holy oil and cement as you expected. They are definitely for vehicles and machines, but I personally can't find any use of current vehicles from vehicle framework. So unless I decided to make my version of vehicles, there would be less chance for those items.

And my last idea , skitaris sinse they mech usually connected via webnet (like ethernet) it was well described in Brutal Kunning when ALL forge world have a net what connect the world council with every single skitarii, something like battle comanding from default game but with MUCH BIGGER range and maybe little bit stronger

Also add in drugs mod a blessed/holy oils as some kind of drug what increase everything about implants and you connect this on religion.
And last my idea add mechadendrites as boost in accuracy/ or some specific work what mechadendrites is for (like medical mechadendrites or crafting one)

Of course i can tell something like go read wiki but i try to write something as already working concept
First of all you already have servo skulls , maybe skill what increase they productivity
Skill what increase buffs of all bionics
Stun/Kill/Mind control mech/Disable
You can connect something on venhicle for examle astartes venhicle (what non grimworld one)
And basics something like increase productiviy and research speed
Boost of aim of art/maybe personal weapons
i just think you should some day add iron warriors (cuz already make geneseed) black legion and word bearves and mechs gear too.
Also possible some kind of EMP damage of explosive/splash idk (i just remember they priests of cycle , this one with closed eyes and naked torso https://warhammer40k.fandom.com/wiki/Electro-priest)

@fat cat Umm... do they have any faith-oriented power? I literally not a huge fan of those Yet-Another-Skitarii-guys, so can't imagine what kind of benefit can I give to them.

Maybe the machine spirit, but then it's more likely mechanoid's faith, not of Mechanicum.

@TurtleShroom I mean, Memes and Precepts are already included in my Ideology library, so once the development of this mod has done, I'll add / update memes and precept at that mod's end. About Anomaly, I'm currently drilling down vanilla source code to give corruptions to pawns when they study about dark knowledge.

I don't know any C-Sharp, so I unfortunately cannot help you with integration, but Mods like the Vanilla Factions Expanded Memes Mod adds Corruption as a Need and a Ritual to increase it. Alongside your Faith and Corruption mechanics possibly affecting the conversion effectiveness from changing ideologies, I imagine there's a lot that you could glean from that.

@TurtleShroom The main purpose of this mod at current state is to create a mechanism without any DLC. Anomaly or Ideology integration is already provided by my other mod sets, though there would be additional integration by either this mod or one of those mod for each faction's belief in the long run.
