good to hear that you found the Snapjaw Mages tutorial useful, too :) I recently wrote up a page on modding in pets; if you ever feel the desire to make Ares a pet that the player can start with, this might help you: https://wiki.cavesofqud.com/wiki/Modding:Pets
This is awesome.
I fear for the day when my little friend dies.. Hope your buddy lives to a ripe old age and you enjoy many bright days together!
I got a boost of creativity and is not so hard look at Qud data to find references to start with. The biggest problem was grammar, just a missing "s" got me crazy for almost an entire day until I figured out!
It's really nice that these days there are people who likes to contribute or help others in a community, specially think about how a post and conversation in Reddit started everything.
Well done putting it all together, and troubleshooting any issues that arose. I appreciate the thanks and the shoutout to Tzuso, too. That was nice of you.
(I hope the Workshop uploader wasn't too tricky to work around, it can be a bit difficult to figure out at first).
