Would be nice to know if this is compatible with latest builds and with AQDs armor rebalance. Such a great concept. Should be vanilla!

This was one of the mods that caused an error in my loading a saved game. When I removed it (with the other ones) from my mod list, I was able to then load the saved game successfully. Just an FYI to the author.

I loved using this mod up until the latest patch, which makes all armor blocks a matte grey due to this mod. Really sucks as I have to redesign all my stuff now :/

Hello there,
I am not sure if your still working on this mod, but if you are i have noticed any time the depleted uranium Corner block is Equipped to the hotbar ( in the middle of testing the other blocks) the game crashes with an memory error, even if there is plently of unused memory.

Please fix,

this might be me being a complete dofus but my game crashes soon after place depleted uranium armour blocks, does anyone else have this if not i'll have to look at my other mods

@KAM, the small ship ones yes, this mod does nothing to large blocks. as there weight is modeled correctly

PS KAM, this already is compatibale with armor ramps, dosent change the componets needed but id does make them lighter

@Mouse...hmmm really...god ive already had so much trouble with the stinking aluminum armor, ill see what I can do. im in the middle of a complete rewrite anyway.

Could you consider adding this onto other mods, such as the 'Armor Ramps' mod (it adds a lot of parts for small ships, all different kinds of angles and ramps of various sizes) - sounds like it might be a nice addition to this, especially in terms of rebalancing. Don't know if someone else has noticed this but Aluminum Armor Corner is not working correctly on my game. When I place the block it seems to double almost like it is being mirrored. I have tried this on creative and survival, with and without mirroring on.

You have the <public> tag for the large rotor part listed as false. In addition if you look in the default CubeBlocks.sbc Keen has an interesting note about the materials needed in the rotor part and fixing rotors going beyond their bounds.

Any progress on this? I'm guessing the issue might be that you when you made the coding for the texture, you probably (to save time and energy) just copy/pasted/edited the original coding for the light armor blocks, and missed a reference or two in the aluminium code, or accidently messed up the original code for the light armor texture while editing for the Aluminium. Basically, a typo.

\o/ If that's the case, then may I suggest, once the actual problem is fixed, to change back then ame of the ore to Aluminium. Every ore in game exists in the world as something else. There are countless iron ores, nickel ores, etc.

I'm not following. Make a new file or a new folder? What kind of file? I found a 328765114.smb in my mods folder, but i'm not sure what you're saying I should do with it. What thumbnail? For the .smb file?

I have no idea how steam does what it does, but if you want a quick fix just make a new file in your mods directory and copy all the files from an smb file with the numbers, 328765114, look at the thumb nail if your unshure. And past them in the new file you made and it should work fine.

If that's the case, and its this just a guess from someone who knows NOTHING of modding, but if it works for a local version but not a steam version, it sounds like it might be a problem with folder and file location. Your mod might be putting something in a location that is different for the steam version.

ok thanks guys for telling me, i dont use the steam version i hae a local version and that works great, i dont have internet at my house so i cant bug test the steam version like I should. I have to post and upload at work, or mcdonalds, so im working on a fix, but like I said my local version works fine and thats what I upload to steam, soo I have no idea rigth now what it could be.

Also, just FYI, the problem I was having before was with the components of the Large Plates (all of them). If the compnent was in the enviroment, it would be a pink error box (and yes, I did a file verfication).

I'm getting the pink error boxes too. Your mod messed up the deformed blocks. I start a new world, and the parts of the my rescue ship that are deformed and damaged are big pink boxes saying ERROR. I just went through my mod list removing and adding one by one. Its defintely this one.

Looking forward to the new textures. Besides the obvious reasons, also so i don't have a giant pink ERROR box floating around.

As for the ice for the concrete, there already is a concrete mod out there. And its good and seems popular. Making your own would put you in compitition with him. How about the two of you team up?

And an extra cent on my 2 cents, ice broken down into Hydrogen and Oxygen, then, for the chemical rockets, they would require two seperate conveyor feeds from an O2 tank and an H2 tank. Bulky, combersome, yes, but HIGH OUTPUT! *Goes back to building his base on a rocky donut*

OK i figured out why it was not uploading, Its to big! most mod files are 20-60 mb, but mine...ooo mine is 206 mb, 205 of that being textures....seems night forgot to compress them, so I just downloaded paint.net lets see if i can fix this

well not tonight fokes inernet is being a derp...tomarow thou you shall all have the splenders that is aluminium, heres a hint it looks awsome in black and grey, and thanks to EXOR for the cold facts, Bauxit is now in game, just the same as aluminium, and ICE has been made compatibale with life support,

What would be cool, IMO, is a fusion reactor and new thruster that uses the water from the ice. The thruster using hydrogen and Oxygen, so you'd need a water to fuel processing block. My $0.02
