love its design very much and with a few days or work its easy to modify and add mods to it. thanks for making this awesome ship. The page fails to mention but this thing is a mobile base as well since it has a x2 full assemblers and x2 basic refinery. very much thumbs up and I also favorited it.

Yah... too many games played on my part where the destroyer was expected to rush in as the tip of the spear instead of being an escort like irl X)

I named it after the IRL role descriptions and expectations of naval destroyers lol

Ah, a difference of naming conventions/expectations then, fair enough.

As for the grav-gen and chair... I'm tempted to fight you for splitting hairs over a few KW on a ship with 195 MW worth of reactors on it, or over repair costs/time on a grav-gen and interior wall with all the jump drives and reactors buried where they are X)

But I suppose it is your ship, and it does look cool as is. I thank you for sharing it.

It's meant to be a mix of survival and RP. It's not perfect, and I didn't intend for it to be. It's not designed to attack everything head-on nor broadside, its turret placement is perfect for its actual use - fleet defense. It isn't designed for you to constantly be throwing out railgun shots and attacking everything frontally.

The gravity generator is where it is because anywhere else would be very awkward to replace, waste power, and be very easy to destroy.

I could add a battle bridge, but it's such a small ship that I didn't deem it necessary.

Not bad, I love the bridge look, and the engine-pods are also pretty slick.

RP-wise, I'd replace one of the air-locks on the bridge with some style of bathroom (MREs do need to go somewhere, and anyone that's been part of a tank crew will absolutely confirm that everyone else smells and needs a shower).

Function-wise:
-The control seats all being on the exposed bridge make this craft susceptible cockpit-snipes (intentional or otherwise). Moving the grav generator to under the stairs would free up its current location for an extra seat that would be useful in such an eventuality.
-Adding an AI offense block would allow the turrets to target things out to their maximum ranges without pilot input.
-The projector needs to be updated.
-The gats on the nose tend to get blown off by the assaults behind them, I'd advise moving them to where the h2 thrusters on top of the ship are now, though doing so would require other changes. If you'd like assistance, I'd be glad to offer it.
