@The Dreamer I did get into 1705 by touching the screen. I'm in kitchen/bathroom but I cannot open the door of the room with robot girl (saw in walkthrough). I can grab the handle, it moves a little bit (or better say shakes), but no matter how I move my mouse, door stay closed. I do not have this problem in other soma mods or the game itself.
The Dreamer  [author] 31 May @ 10:35pm
@ngx The console to the right of the door has a note saying "touch screen to open door"; should unlock when you left click it.
ngx 31 May @ 7:47pm
I cannot get room door open in 1705, no matter what I do they won't budge. I watched walkthrough, there seems to be no key needed. Or did I miss something?
Sindrosa 25 May @ 7:06pm
Must be my computer then, tried doing exactly that, only to end up thinking it was working, to then crash at the same part, thanks for trying to help, i guess i can be happy with watching the playthrough
The Dreamer  [author] 25 May @ 6:16pm
@Sindrosa

Only recommendation I can make is that you unsubscribe from the workshop version and delete all your TWWW saves before deleting and reinstalling the lowspec version and starting from the beginning; saves can be found in

C:\Users\USER\Documents\My Games\Soma\Mods\TWWW

If it still crashes, there's nothing else I can do; there's unfortunately a hard RAM requirement for the level following the apartment cap, and the lowspec version can reduce it only so much. Apologies.
Sindrosa 25 May @ 12:58pm
Downloaded the lowerspec version only to get a full black screen after interacting around spawn, doesnt go away
Sindrosa 25 May @ 12:19pm
Game Continues to crash after the scene with robo girl, settings down at lowest, resetting the mod over and over again, anything i can do?
xyz96 3 May @ 9:13am
Christopher Nolan level writing. I loved the whole experience - what bugs I did encounter were either in my favour or just plain funny. 10/10 SOMA mod, I highly recommend this one to players looking into SOMA mods after their first playthrough!
Jane Weekes 15 Mar @ 3:00pm
Just finished this, That was a masterpiece, youre talented, saw a few bugs and there but this was so good
Jane Weekes 14 Mar @ 6:04pm
i hasnt finished this yet but wtf bro this is amazing like the other person said, this looks like a dlc for soma
Dachs-Hackle 13 Mar @ 7:23pm
Genuinely amazing. A little glitchy but otherwise this deserves to be a standalone game.

I figured out what the problem was, I didn't have Win.Rar installed, but even so it crashed in the same place, my computer is too weak :( I'll have to watch the walkthrough, I hope I can play this mod one day:k8dead::k8dead::k8dead:
The Dreamer  [author] 19 Jan @ 11:24am
@Ultranaft
It's only different here because you're installing a non-steam addon. The D drive thing just means you have to change the folder; it should unzipped to D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\SOMA\mods\TWWW instead. Reinstalling shouldn't be necessary.

@The Dreamer
It's strange, for some reason I don't have a single folder with mods in the mods folder, I downloaded other modifications and everything was the same, no folders. I tried to search in other places, but it was unsuccessful, I even tried to create a folder called TWWW, of course it didn't help either. My game is installed on DISK_D, could this be the problem? I can reinstall the game if necessary.:k8dead:
The Dreamer  [author] 18 Jan @ 4:29pm
@Ultranaft
Unzip the folder's contents to C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\SOMA\mods\TWWW (depending on which drive the game is on), then it should be viewable via ModLauncher.exe in the SOMA directory.

@Hasha37(37)
Glad to hear you enjoyed it.
⎝⧸⎠Ultranaft⎝⧹⎠ 18 Jan @ 10:54am
Where should I move TWWW_lowspec? Because my computer apparently can't handle this modification even with the lowest graphics and resolution, can you help?:k8dead::k8dead::k8dead:
Hash37(37) 14 Jan @ 7:38am
Lowered the graphics and it all went just fine after this, thanks.
Beatiful mod, honestly. Riveting, even. I don't think I know what else to say, so I''m not going to pretend like I know what to say.
Thank you, phenomenal job.
The Dreamer  [author] 13 Jan @ 4:37pm
@Hash37(37) I can concur with Jack16, try on lower settings and see if it happens again; the low-spec version is more of an "absolute last resort" thing. At what point specifically did it crash? Before or after the conversation with Daisy?
Jack16 13 Jan @ 1:24pm
Replying to "Hash37(37)": Drop your texture and shadow quality to medium for that map only; I believe that crash is caused by some engine out of memory limitation and not your PC
Hash37(37) 13 Jan @ 7:28am
Game crashes when I wake up in the couch after the art museum part. Do I have to get a low-spec version? Because it ran fine with zero frame drops up until then.

nvm you just gotta slow yourself down before you hit the water
Democracy Field Officer "Δ" 9 Dec, 2024 @ 10:24am
Please help theres a section the sewers with the pipes and when you jump down your screen gets over exposed when you touch the water and then you begin sinking through the ground and pipe
♥️ Deer ♥ 28 Nov, 2024 @ 11:12am
I will never not be impressed by this game's modding community, i'm half way through I think and its been amazing. My only issue has been that Daisy and sometimes the other temporary companions often get stuck and try to navigate through walls to get to me.
Big Boss 6 Nov, 2024 @ 10:22pm
the audio is easily the best part of this- so many times i've had it spook me for parts unintentional. really great
The Dreamer  [author] 3 Nov, 2024 @ 12:37pm
@Jack16 @Marshall the one

The Museum does use AI art; specifically, it uses a mix of real art, VQGAN generated pieces, and Stable Diffusion pieces with a trained custom LoRA; the VQGAN stuff is pretty obvious, but there's some surprisingly non-obvious pieces in the mix.

That being said, Daisy has no comments for non-human pieces, as nature intended.

@TiMan

If memory serves, you were given access to an older version; the save files have caused issues in the past, so if additional issues come up, they may be of this type, and you might get some improvement by deleting the save file.

@West Side Paddle Boater

Ska lives? Who could say, with any sort of certainty.

@Blue light @Munniwalf

Thank you both, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

@Lorkhan

Neither do I.
TiMan 25 Oct, 2024 @ 9:54am
Ok, I found the issue:
OldSpectrum120 = vSpectrum1[01];

It should be:
OldSpectrum120 = vSpectrum1[0];
TiMan 25 Oct, 2024 @ 9:52am
Unable to run the mod. When starting new game, there is an infinite loading. When looking at the hpl.log file, there is an error:
ERROR: Exception at line 427 col: 2 in 'void cScrMap::SoundScan(const tString&in)' at section 'simulation_1.hps'
Jack16 23 Oct, 2024 @ 2:31am
Replying to "Marshall the one": Yes, the other art frames without a light above them seem AI generated; They can't be located with Google Lens and contain random fragments of sneakers and car suspensions. A shame really, I quite liked talking about the real art with Daisy ;(
Lorkhan 18 Oct, 2024 @ 7:01am
I don't understand the ending.
Marshall the one 6 Oct, 2024 @ 6:08pm
Does the art museum part use ai art at all? My friend thinks it does but I'm not sure.
Blue light 5 Oct, 2024 @ 3:16pm
I just finished your mod ( even though it took me like 3 months to finish ) and I have to say. Out of all the soma mods I've played in the workshop this one has to be the BEST one out of all of them so far and damn I would even say it's a work of art.
Munniwalf 25 Sep, 2024 @ 3:20pm
Hey can i just say i love this mod? this is my favorite on the workshop, I love the dynamic between Tim and Daisy. <3
coel 12 Sep, 2024 @ 1:43pm
very strange game, but good in some ways
artificialparanoia 6 Sep, 2024 @ 4:21pm
Probably one of if not the best HPL mod currently released. Highly recommend.
West Side Paddle Boater 23 Aug, 2024 @ 12:54pm
I love the Streetlight Manifesto shout out at the end hell yea. Ska lives!
The answer is the question 19 Aug, 2024 @ 7:13am
Great mod, one of the better SOMA mods ive played. Any plans for expanding the story? Part 2 maybe?
Lans The Gryphon 17 Aug, 2024 @ 12:55pm
@The Dreamer Ah, thank you, guess my lack of patience became my downfall
The Dreamer  [author] 17 Aug, 2024 @ 12:20pm
@Lans The Gryphon After unplugging the three you just need to survive for a minute; there's no specific task after they're unplugged.
Lans The Gryphon 17 Aug, 2024 @ 12:03pm
Hey! I seem to be stuck at the recog event - no clue on what to do after unplugging 3 dudes and just end up dying over and over.
The Dreamer  [author] 9 Aug, 2024 @ 9:17pm
@nepi92 I have no idea; if it works, let me know. The only thing I know is a hard limitation is that you do need access to arrow keys to complete certain puzzles/functions, but other than that I can't imagine it being an issue.

@West Side Paddle Boater Hopefully the rest of it treats you well.
The Dreamer  [author] 9 Aug, 2024 @ 5:23pm
@adriartilol

Glad to hear you enjoyed it; no more mods for me, but a game is definitely down the pipeline. Make sure to check out Stayd's other stuff, he's working on a pretty extensive Dark Souls 2 overhaul at the moment, along with an Armored Core inspired game. https://x.com/stayd3d
West Side Paddle Boater 9 Aug, 2024 @ 9:03am
Wowwwwwwww this is great. I'm not that far into it but just the first conversation in the first elevator has me enthralled. This is fantastic.
nepi92 8 Aug, 2024 @ 3:01am
Hey, is the mod playable on the steam deck? Thanks for your help!
adriartilol 6 Aug, 2024 @ 3:36pm
This has got to be one of the best mods I've ever played. Seriously good job on everyone's part, I know your collection mentions that you won't be making any more custom stories, but I really hope you will make another piece of art like this in the future.
adriartilol 4 Aug, 2024 @ 7:11pm
Nearing the end. Holy shit.
This is one of the best psychological horror games I've played. I've loved every second of it, it feels a lot like what OBSERVER would've wanted to be, but I really can't compare it to anything else.
Really, you guys have done an amazing job, I can only hope to see you work together again for another mod (The Bunker, perhaps?) or an entire game.
The Dreamer  [author] 4 Aug, 2024 @ 7:00pm
@kiraimmortalhu

I appreciate it; it's reactions like this that make it worth it, I'm deeply glad you enjoyed it.

@adriartilol

I'll pass your compliment off to Stayd, I'd agree that it's definitely a great flashlight, lol
adriartilol 4 Aug, 2024 @ 4:43pm
I haven't beaten the mod just yet, but the flashlight???? I didn't even know something like this could be possible without performance issues in HPL, but the fake GI and placement really sells it! This is something I'd expect from a Penumbra remake!
ValG 4 Aug, 2024 @ 8:35am
That actually did it! Thank you, but alas it was a bit too late as I'm already writing a review based on the walkthrough..

So this was unexpected, and by a lot. The environment design style and the atmosphere and all that are not something I'm usually attracted to. But hey SOMA mods are rare nowadays, so despite not being able to play it I decided to watch a little bit of the walkthrough to see how it is.

AND. MAN. No words. I was so hooked on the walkthrough I never actually went back to check the page if you replied only after I was done watching.

Steam comments have a massive length restriction, so I'll be brief.
This does not deserve to be a SOMA mod, and the popularity that comes with such.
I'm rarely touched by stories on such a personal level, the narration, the VA and the writing work is beyond sublime.
It deserves the award without question, and I shall make sure this gets to every friend I know who'd appreciate such a thing. 9.5/10, outstanding work!
The Dreamer  [author] 2 Aug, 2024 @ 4:23pm
@kiraimmortalhu Huh, never come across this before; if you rename your save game folder (C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\My Games\Soma\Mods) and re-run it, does the hang still occur?
ValG 2 Aug, 2024 @ 10:11am
hey! looks great, but this seems to be the first mod in my FG mod history that I left open for more than 15 minutes and it refused to load the first map. it looks like it's still loading, consuming a lot of resources but it does not really look like it's getting anywhere. tried both normal and low-spec version and seemingly no difference.
