Hi @ejcaldera - are you using Prop Joe's Mod Manager? When I've had these issues reported before, using that tool rather than the vanilla mod manager seems to resolve it for people.

It comes highly recommended anyway as it's a great tool and easier to use than the vanilla one, if you aren't already using it.

the mod isn't showing up in my mods list when i subscribe to it

i've seen this problem before and it usually requires reuploading the mod

Thank you will be going to test out the Entrepreneur now.

@pie_of_doom_2000 updated to make Entrepreneur income boost on lords be province wide https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/editchangelogentry/3292092582/1753373312/

@pie_of_doom_2000 I can certainly look into Honed, but it's tricky because Nobles with it buff Phoenix guard instead of Sisters of Avelorn, and also because just text wise it's already huge. I'll think about it, but no promises on that one.

Resistant is a 10 influence trait on heroes (which I've not touched) but I a 60 influence trait on Princes. I've tried to reflect that by giving Resistant Princes a strong buff in Immunity to Attrition.

I'll look into buffing Entrepreneur lords some more like you've suggested, it should be pretty straightforward and seems reasonable to me!
pie_of_doom_2000 23 Jul @ 3:07pm
Vanilla Honed only apply's the EXP gain to Sisters of Avalon and not the other parts of the trait. If you are able to update that trait so it completely effects Sisters it be nice.
Kinda sucks that a trait that helps every other archer and is suppose to help most the army ignores the sisters. Considering EXP is not really that useful as buildings can give auto levels it can lead to sisters having less melee defense then a standard archer.
Also isn't Resistant a 10 influence trait?
Is it possible for lords to have Entrepreneur income boost be a province wide trait? If that's to broken can its region bonus be up to 20% or 25%? I always found 15% region bonus to be way to much a Nerf and only makes this questionably useful in 2 spot on Utahan.

Thanks for feedback on the "administrator" hero. I like the changes in this update.

Hi Chris, thanks for taking the time to respond! I'll check this out when I have some time.
chris_sansom  [author] 14 Jul @ 11:56am
Hi there @Gilbereth. I've had this happen a couple of times reported on mods, and I think it's because I've used Prop Joe's Mod Manager to update my mod.

It's also seemingly fixed the issue for other subscribers to use said mod manager: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2845454582

It comes highly recommended anyway as it's a great tool and easier to use than the vanilla one.
Gilbereth 14 Jul @ 10:15am
It doesn't show up for me in the mod loader, if anyone knows how to fix this I'm all ears because i'd love to try this mod out!

Updated! Will update the screenshots and description above soon
chris_sansom  [author] 22 Jun @ 8:33am
Sorry all - I'd been away from gaming or modding for a little while. I'll update this mod some time in the next week or two!
MadMartigan 3 Jun @ 6:38pm
can confirm this no longer works : (
Hopefully you can update soon..
Miraak's Rose 15 May @ 9:32pm
Doesnt Seem To be working anymore
Laserdream 24 Mar @ 7:27am
Strangely enough, ammo replenish trait does not affect Empire luminarks recruit with allied recruitment.

Thank you for this awesome, it would be fantastic to have a version of sub-mod that removes the vanilla traits. They are all just bad, I still find myself reloading in many cases for hours since my game is heavily modded. Thanks again for the awesome contributions and your time and work. Much love.
Waimanian 2 Jan @ 7:10am
cheers
chris_sansom  [author] 2 Jan @ 5:02am
@Waimanian updated!

One of the effects referenced by this mod had been renamed in the base game files. Sorry about that! I've updated to use the updated name for that effect.
chris_sansom  [author] 2 Jan @ 2:53am
Ok thanks for the heads up - I'll try have a look into it as soon as I get a chance
Waimanian 1 Jan @ 6:50am
think the latest update broke the mod, crashes on startup now
Laserdream 15 Nov, 2024 @ 6:00am
Maybe swap Blademaster's (trait that buffs swordmasters) Attuned to the winds for a flat +5 Wardsave, like phoenix trait? Or add it on top, it is a 40 trait.

Other than that, I am kind of thinking that maybe Unending Volley is a bit too good to be on heroes. Otherwise, fantastic job, imo.

Sorry - I have honestly no idea why it's not showing up for you guys. To my knowledge I've not done anything unusual in how I've created this mod or named the pack files.
Vsrin 12 Oct, 2024 @ 5:20am
Yeah, can confirm, this mod is not showing in mod list, but I found a workaround. Just put it directly at game data folder and it work.
owencollinge1001 8 Oct, 2024 @ 12:17pm
same its not showing up on my mod list
Frieon 6 Aug, 2024 @ 1:40am
For some reason only this mod won't show up on my list after subscribing.
chris_sansom  [author] 23 Jul, 2024 @ 12:35am
@Mafnmarsn92 thanks - I wanted to give more reasons to get even those kind of heroes out in battles too! Glad you like it.
Mafnmarsn92 22 Jul, 2024 @ 5:37am
I think the "buffs" are fine. It looks like you only added some spice to the strong vanilla abilities, while buffing the underused ones. There are many ways to abuse game mechanics to build strong armies. I love the buff to conscientious nobles btw, finally a reason to not leave them in Lothern all game.
modmodmod 20 Jul, 2024 @ 5:32am
@chris_sansom
In the case of a lord, only one person can be assigned to the army, so it is okay, but in the case of a hero, multiple heroes can be assigned to the army, so I think the Hero’s army buff should not be too much.

And I think traits like Administrator, Punitive were one of the best traits in vanilla. So, I think the buff to this trait will ultimately result in people choosing this trait again.

This is my personal opinion, so I respect your decision as a modder.

For now, I'm going to enjoy your mod. thank you.
chris_sansom  [author] 20 Jul, 2024 @ 5:05am
@modmodmod happy to consider any balancing suggestions you have :)

Are there any particular traits that you'd tone down?

Other balancing option would be that I could publish a companion mod which increases the top tier influence costs, e.g. Heroes from 40 to 50 and Lords from 60 to 75.

Let me know what you think!
modmodmod 19 Jul, 2024 @ 9:44pm
The direction of the rework is very good, but personally, I think the buff is too much.
