I think the funniest part about this is that the knockback for the sniper rifle is so strong, that not only can I use it as a third jump, but I can propel myself in space using it.

I'm not the biggest fan of the changes to the Grenade Launcher and the Rocket Launcher changes, but that's subjective on my part, and I can't wait to see more.

Can you edit the one the one line n front of Sniper Rifle from "plan, be slow and calculated" to "Inhale.....focus....now poll the trigger!"

Vanilla Starbound combat was pitifully basic despite its potential to become something more.

I'm glad to still see others continue going on and beyond.

Now the cherry on top if this is fully compatible with the Weapon Assembly mod :steamhappy:

@Pokie!, sorry for my oversight. I found that SCO cuts the vanilla guns out of obtainable treasure pool and replaces them new Supper's guns. Where my mod does not cover.

By the way, I do love watching my toon's arm going full 360 swings from recoil though.

And anyways, I found Double and Roller Coaster to be the easiest to control since one just doubles between straight and offset while another kinda stabilizes into laser line after a few (dozen) shots.

Eh, in my game, SCO takes priority as all the guns spawned are SCO ones with all vanilla damage and add-ons from SCO and no pattern at all. I checked by starting the game with just this mod alone, and then another new game with just SCO alone, and even tried adding SCO after this mod, SCO always take priority for my game.

Maybe it's due to all the SCO compatibility patches with other mods like Arcana or something?

@Pokie!, this mod already take priority over most mods, including SCO.
The guns with harder to control spray patterns deal way more damage per shot. Except "chaos" as a worse version of "linear", you are suppose to only tap-fire with that one.
Right now is no way to turn off the "metronome".

Is there a way to make this mod take priority over Supper's Combat Overhaul? SCO kinda just overrides all vanilla weapon generation so, based on description, this one got nipped, too.

While that SCO does have quite a lot of good ideas and such, this mod gives absolute power to the guns, but that also come with absolute unusability of high energy drain and no ability to aim for quite a few patterns. It's just way more fun overall.

Also, is there an off for that "metronome" sound that plays when recoil direction change?

@ZachNohKap, a week, and a rewrite of code. But you can use my code, there're many things that are hard coded like spray pattern and gun smoke. Feel free to replace the scripts.

How long did this take you to make and how easy was it? If it was short and easy to do I would be down to make expansion packs for stuff like Shellguard to work similar to this

@MegaMato, the last time I changed my thumbnail of another mod, its popularity did not stay. The lighting plays a large part in showing the weapon's power. And the thumbnail is the icon of this mod. Lastly, the flash acts as a gate keeper, I don't want to hide the fact that it's flashy, one would probably see this through out most nights.

I would not change it. And there is so much more mods beyond this page.

The known issues are fixed now, the cause is that my randomizer overflowed. And I've learnt that the seeds given to the build script by "spawnitem" and "spawntreasure" commands are different in range.

I am still working on the compatibility issues, in the next update, all generated range weapons will use its own scripts.
Cause I found another bug that FU make sniper rifles' shots offset. And there is no recoil since my mod overwrites it, the only explanation I can think of is that FU changes how aim updates.

Hello, I am here to report that around only 1 in 3 guns I find work as intended, the others either deal insane damage, or deal -nan(ind) damage.

I know this bug has already been reported, but no one said what mod they were using, so, here I am.

Mods used are split into 4 groups, Gameplay and Additions, Utility Patches Fixes and Optimization, Libraries, Visuals or Similar.

Additionally, the universe folder was entirely wiped before I started the playthrough.

Gameplay and Additions :
-Frackin' Universe
-Project Knightfall
-Avali (Triage) Race Mod
-Stat rebalance( Mega Brutal)
-Healing Rebalance
-Melee rebalance
-Tech rework
-Range Rework

Out of these I can only imagine FU or Knightfall are the reason.
Perhaps it is what happens when FU wants to spawn in an ammo weapon since I haven't found any of these yet?

@Logan.W, can you see if the item has a custom label( i.e. Spray Pattern, Aim Force, Spread Angle and Base Velocity) just below the "N-handed" label? If it doesn't, then it is a compatibility issue.

Multiple people have reported this, but none said what mods they were using with.

@Lukiwarble, I don't think multiple build scripts for the vanilla item are possible. I only know that "-nan" equals to tostring(0/0).

Without knowing what mods I am dealing, I could never know how to fix it.
Maybe you can tell me what DPS displaying mod you are using.
Otherwise, tomorrow I will try to move the build script of the assault rifle to be parallel to the vanilla's, just to test it.

The lv2 common rocket launcher is normal.

as for the mods, that i know of it should be only Frackin Universe and Fuck original weapon sprites changing the vanilla random weapons

they work just fine its just the damage that went to the moon, the others seems to be fine aside from a lv2 common rocket launcher with 800 dps but i think thats normal

1)What mods are you using, I think it has to do with some damage scaling mods, it should be at most 200 DPS if it had the "mess" spray pattern and a high spray intensity.
2)Does the rare pistol work, my mod requires a custom build script to get the fancy damage scaling, it seems that it got replaced by another. But I have no idea where "-nan" comes from.
