this seems to happen when trying to use power suit variants. They just stand there and beep when I try to get in them.

the variants of elemental (the power armor style guy under light mechs) create errors and are unable to shoot.

This is by design, the added variants use a set of weapons modified to work like their mech warrior/ table top counter parts rather than mech assault.

doesnt work with upgrades

The new Elemental mech variations don't work, every time I try to get in one it doesn't let me, and I get a lua error.

Got the same issue as most of the lads below me, cant get into the mech and it only has 1 hp, dying to any one hit

Tried reinstalling both addons and restarting my laptop entirely, issue persists sadly

i read your comment on dealing with this once your work station and such are ready, i just wished to let you know that the issue seems to be commonplace and sadly wont be fixed by a simple reinstall of the mods.

what specifically do you mean by a "full restart"? i opened the game and then closed it after i subscribed to the addon, but that didnt seem to do the trick

I'll get looking at this once my work station gets moved to my new apartment.

Other things I need to fix too.

In the meanwhile I've noticed uninstalling the reinstalling both addons then restarting gmod can potentially fix it.

my issue is that the mechs spawn already active, and i just... can't use them.

same. Mech spawns sideways and buzzing when i try to get in.

also i don't know if its unrelated but my gmod detects them as conflicting due to them apparently both having a shared.lua file

Likely running into the issue I mentioned in the description, still trying to figure out the exact cause but letting the addon install then rebooting gmod seems to work.

Yeah that seems to line up with the issue, the wild part is sometimes it decides to work randomly after your reinstall the addons.

Looks like i ran into the problem with it not detecting the shared.lua. spawned in a mech but got the following in console upon doing so
