- added bug fix for vanilla bug; lead and jet suits now protect against cold and hot air like intended
- fixed atmosuits not decreasing frostbite threshold
- added configurable frostbite temperature threshold
@lol at the "rookie" comments, it is just not a great mechanic but it is thematic, that will affect anything post-early game and an additional "chore" to the cycle (just get jackets asap and basic machinery that produce heat and you basicly playing with this mod).
This mod does not simply "disable everything". It offers to toggle off different aspects of the system that cause issues on asteroids like Rime or Oasisse.
I abused the fact that dupes in cold temps really did not have any big issues back in the day before the Frosty Pack DLC. I find the new Temp mechanics actually very well done, and really good at having you make a choice, instead of just plowing through with no real issues.
Still I can understand why some would not want these damaging debuffs to dupes.
