Is there a reason I continue to have 0% of the vote on 50% difficulty after literally solving every problem? It's impossible to get any votes..

can you make it so it works in D3 africa,as it would make sense to play it there

Look mommy, no hands!

There is now way to win this at all. Even when I have eliminate all the problems, i have not enough time to reduce the debt, because incomes are definitly too small.:steamfacepalm:

can someone give me the mod it is not working and i cant find it no where
Arch_Chancellor 26 Oct, 2017 @ 4:24am
Somehow, it works, even with Zander273's Overhaul Pack, but to make it viable, you have to also have the extreme investment mod enabled to defeat the Debt Crisis...
Black_Phoenix 19 Apr, 2016 @ 11:49pm
Way too difficult. Don't even bother. I had to use cheat mods just to keep my head above water because the debt interest alone crushes you instantly, taken up 99% of the expenditures which leads to a debt crises that just kicks you when you're down. Even with cheats its still impossible because all the bad situations make every faction hate you so you get assassinated barely a quarter of the way through your first term

Dankipeleka They Are The Porrest. The Wealth well you can't tap into it when investers are scared.
dankipeleka 23 Jul, 2015 @ 3:21am
2 things, the DRC is NOT the poorest country on earth at all so the discription is false! next really this mod is a completely overexaggeration of the economic situation in that country and completely fails to take into account the natural wealth of that country which has an estimated 24trillion USD of untapped mineral ores including the worlds largest reserves of cobalt, i think an option of giving few concessions to the countries shold be modded in as a way to clear debt?

I think one of the new updates might've broken the mod, so it's probably incompatible if anything. You could check and see if there's any other conflicting mods, but tbh this is too hard for anyone to complete any ways. I used proper debt numbers and it's just made it realistically impossible to get the Conga out of debt.
Arch_Chancellor 9 Jul, 2015 @ 8:49am
The mod is crashing Democ 3 whenever I attempt to play as DRC
[Vodka]  [author] 10 Apr, 2015 @ 11:04am
I've edited the values, but have no idea how to upload or update workshop files anymore. Anyone able to point me in the right direction?
Astrocreep 10 Apr, 2015 @ 9:19am
I agree. I have made it serveral terms into it. no way to grow the economy enough and raise enough taxes to come close. Too bad I don't know how to mod because the only thing this is missing is a debt forgiveness policy.
Pino D'Angio 7 Apr, 2015 @ 3:01pm
Impossible to play.
[Vodka]  [author] 31 Mar, 2015 @ 6:53am
Just think of things that the people want really, I can't really give tips, I don't play it often anymore.
Astrocreep 31 Mar, 2015 @ 3:58am
Thanks. Still haven't been able to get reelected but at least I am surviving now. Any tips beside electoral fraud? I usually get to the mid 40% at the election with it.
[Vodka]  [author] 22 Mar, 2015 @ 10:00am
You could try getting the Palace mod, you're practically immune to assassinations after that.
Astrocreep 22 Mar, 2015 @ 2:51am
Can's survive assassination attempts. Any tips?
[Vodka]  [author] 1 Mar, 2015 @ 9:45am
That's the reality of how much the Congo is in debt.
MadK 1 Mar, 2015 @ 8:09am
i thought this mod would be hard and fun, but it isnt. What fun is there to play a country where whatever you do, you cant pay back the national debt? by eliminating policy points i managed to max out revenue to 80 billion... great! theres still 120 billion i need to go before i can even balance my budget :/ wtf??
[Vodka]  [author] 9 Nov, 2014 @ 12:05pm
I'm not very good at coding, if I find some time I'll try and look into it and create a little update for this if I figure it out.
blitzthedragon 8 Nov, 2014 @ 2:19am
I'd recommend a triggered event in which a portion of the national debt is forgiven by the IMF/World Bank on the basis of the government making good faith efforts to improve the economy/human rights.
[Vodka]  [author] 20 Oct, 2014 @ 5:01pm
Okay, thank you for helping me here!
The national debt is just the statistics that I found online, though I'll add a few policies to help the player out.
Gikgik 20 Oct, 2014 @ 5:00pm
That's better, though the national debt is still extremely high.

To make the game less impossible, Armed Police could be added from the beginning. It takes 50 PC to implement.
[Vodka]  [author] 20 Oct, 2014 @ 4:56pm
Fixed the term length, fixed the population and adjusted the national debt, I removed the two extra zeros.
Gikgik 20 Oct, 2014 @ 4:51pm
Played the game. Some issues:
* Term length is 5 turns. Should this be every 20 turns instead?
* Population variable should be divided by 2,000.
* National debt is extremely high. Should this be lower?
[Vodka]  [author] 20 Oct, 2014 @ 4:48pm
Okay, thank you for letting me know. :)
I will update it shortly.
Gikgik 20 Oct, 2014 @ 4:44pm
Great to see a low-income nation!

The path to congonames.txt is broken, which crashes the game. Should be
Congo\data\names\congonames.txt
