lol, it shouldn't be, that system has been replaced almost 4 years ago, this mod has not been updated in 4 years, I have not even considered updating respawnship mods in that time.

love to see verents for all landing type, space, earth, mars, alien, etc. Basicly a replacement for vanilla types

@nukeguard could you make a atmo one of these ships. i looked and couldn't find one. it would be super nice to have a space one and a atmo one in the same mod for servers that have a planet or 2.

Nuke, is it ok that I have taken your mod and altered it a little for my own use? As I wanted to include the 3 planet landers and spacesuit, and wanted your respawnship to spawn in space where the original respawnship ship does. I hope that's ok. It's in my workshop. let me know thanks.

This may be the case, but the reason servers use the small ship spawnships do decrease damage caused by trouble makers, and to increase the difficulty of starting out.

Server I'm on has this, and I like it except for one minor problem. It's a respawn ship, so it counts as a "temporary ship", and since its a small block ship, it cannot be merged into a station to remove that flag. So, you have to grind it completely down in order to not have it despawn if you log. Thats not really a problem that the mod can solve, since it's a core game mechanic, just wanted to bring it up.

I personally don't wanna atmo thrusters added, it would just to easy for the new players. Maybe separate mod? :) But if you could remove that default lander from the list it would be perfect.

yea, I need to update this mod, and probably add atmos thrusters. Previously, spawnships by default spawned with inertial dampeners off.

Could you add a spare set of hand tools to the ship for when (respawn-without-tools) is enabled? I noticed the default yellow ship comes with a spare set, probably included around the same time said respawn option was added.

@Ladarius, you will need:

easiest way is to download this mod, open the zip file from /%userdata%/appdata/roaming/spaceengineers/mods/(mod number)

extract to that folder, open the respawnships.sbc and check the folder prefabs to get the basic idea of how to assemble the mod

I was wondering if you could do an alternate version of of this so it only replaces the big yellow spawn ship (I am trying to get smaller ships to replace but don't like the multi ship packs.)

Did you mean how did I get it to display in mod? If so, you have to place a thumb.jpg in the mod folder then upload.

Thanks! Trying to find a solution to the annoying 'can't get anything from inventory' bug. However, if you can weld a welder on the cargo container, you can use all the materials.

I encountered an issue where ship would spawn and instant death, this is how I fixed that
<PositionAndOrientation>

</PositionAndOrientation>

Set position to somewhere near center, I'm guessing that it has to do with how the player spawns. I initially created the ship far from center somewhere around 80km from center, and it was causing instant deaths.

i to am trying to replace the vanilla respawns ships for a private server. i keep having a an issue with them though. when i test run the ship doesnt load at all and the toon is frozen in place. have you encountered that in your mod development?

Currently an issue with custom spawnships sometimes the components are inaccessible, but they can be used by ship welders.

Having an issue not accessing the Metal Grid in the respawn ships. Anyone else run into similar issue? Can create, pickup, use other metal grid components, just not the ones in the respawn ship
