my thought process is that its more planks that need processing but is faster to deliver and not alot more efficient in wood cost

One builder can transfer alot mor planks than logs

I think the plank and wood costs on levees got reversed. I'm seeing 1x2 levee cost at 19 planks 2 wood which feels off considering a normal levee is just 12 wood so its expect to be about 24 wood for two levees. Which would map onto the 23 cost of the 1x2 via 19 wood + 2 planks.

The platforms is now included in Staircase mod but some may need more groups to show up
not sure when i will have the time but its possible to fix that.

but as a heads up i cant seem to find the wooden platforms you show in 2 & 3 screenshot

also would it be possible to create a block thats like the "double invertet slope" but includes the corner piece to create 2x2? (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3483799822 would love to place 4 statues on the corners :D)

Nirahiel had missed to enable its now it will show if more groups is installed (as path tab is to crowded as default

verify that you get version 7.0.0 (you may need to verify timberborn)

Well, with the 7.4 update it is working when I have no other mods installed (other than the requirements for this). But if I add other mods it starts crashing again. I will just wait a few days till the other modders work out the latest issues.

Was excited to see this updates, but sadly I get crashes when trying to load or start a map. I've verified, reinstalled, tried all sorts of troubleshooting but sadly can't get it to work.

i doubt it too. but in a matter of some month the devs should definitly add that because it would be hella fun. but just if its not a performance killer what it probably is.

@TR1V05 - just remember the developers. we *just* recently got water that can go over other water without interacting. since there are only full blocks in the base game (other than dams), i doubt it will be any time soon before they add "collision blocks" to decorative pieces as there are not even any in the base game.

Decoration yes i saw that. makes sence because its decoration. houses also dont block water. I thought it works the same as in unreal and Maya. coding in mods is always critical as it can mess up the game pretty badly, i agree on that. I hope the devs implement better mechanics for the water.

Know that Water blocking is a different thing from collision and is a limitation of the base game it blocks the water from the full block volume for levees and decoration blocks do not block water at all.

if its selection collision thats something i can fix but other need rewrite of water system and i do codeless mods meaning reuse base game functions with new models

with the brown ones you have unlocked from the start. i got no idea how they are called in english. the 1 x 1 triangle with a 2 hight as well as the inner corner 1x1x1. both just cut the water with default collision rectangular box. do factions use different collision boxes o.O? gonna test with the others.

Dude did you ever heard of Collision Boxes? Please go and look up how to make collision boxes. You cant just make a triangular dam with a default square collision box. I really appreciate the effort, but please do stuff propperly because collision boxes are the most important thing in a game that is about fluid physics,

You man combine decoration diagonal block and levee blocks to do so it looks thinner but is the same as leveesplaced diagonal
Outside blocks is levees and block water from enter
Inside is decoration to get it to look like diagonal levee

all decoration blocks gives they well being boost so the new tab thats added with all the different shapes. But not levees that block water!

i noticed there is a well-being bar for "dam decorations". are there specific blocks that give this well-being benefit? as none seemed to imply that was a "thing".

this is by far my most liked mod i have come across!v thanks you Knatte..... would absolutely love to see the addition of 2x1 and 3x1 horizontal triangle pieces so i can make full circles in the walls :)

well it adds things (to base game faction and greedybuilders) and currenly it do not add things to emberpelts. but all my mods is planned to add atleast basic support for emberpelts

so i have noticed a concern with wide levees (1x2, 1x3, 2x2, 2x3, 3x2, 3x3). when placing those levees, they only has one build point, meaning that it can be placed over an edge.
is that on purpose?

@KnatteAnka - thank you for the explanation. personally, i would not mind a few less planks and a few more logs, but i tend to have a lot more logs late game than planks. however, at least i understand your point of view now. thanks again.

and late game when building massive dams plank production is often not a problem but many builders and more log production matters

Well lets compare levee and 3x3 levee
Levee 12 logs
3x3 Levee 6 logs and 80 planks

meaning:
Levee req 6 runs with workers to deliver all gods
3x3 Levee req 3 times for Logs and 20 times of Planks and builds 9 slots meaning 23/9 = 2,55/ block = alot faster to get goods:

Levee uses 12 logs
3x3 Levee uses 86 logs (80 as planks) and builds 9 blocks meaning 86/9 =9,55 logs per block
so it uses both less logs and less time to build the keep around 88-87% efficency in log usage compared to base game and with more planks its faster to get resources out.
