I will probably stick to it as I managed to make destroyed factions respawn.
And make every settlement into their own province?.
You'll have to start again like I did. I had a Seti campaign for about 86 turns and a Ramesses one of 215 turns, all of them using my mod without knowing why I wasn't able to achieve victories. Now it works, but my campaigns are also into the trash.
I suggest you to wait until they release a huge patch soon bejore starting new campaigns, even now that my mod works again. They will probably release a patch and will corrupt savegames again, this is my opinion.
BUT, apparently the assembly kit doesn't compile victory conditions. So I don't know if it doesn't matter.
Rdious, check it out in your computer to see if it let you compile the start_pos with or without the victory_conditions file.
I don't know if it's neccessary to get both in order to get it done.
CA released today new version of Ak (modding tool) where they fixed critical error which happened when compiling edited startpos file. New version no longer breaks Victory Conditions.
To get fixed version for your mod simply recreate your startpos in todays updated Asembly Kit.
THX for your mod .... vanilla slots are just not enough.
Is there any interest/plan to make a version that gives Special settlements (Babylon, Alexandria,Troy, Thebes f.e. ) even 16 slots? / some less important main settlements only 12 slots while keeping 14 for the rest?
just curious :-).... there was one that did this but it was nade with pfm and had its issues.

Also I am aware that this mod, for unknown reasons, causes a bug with Keops legacy. I don't know how to fix it. I only edited regions table in the start_pos and one table in db. Until I realize what's worng you have to choose: use this mod and have more building slots or disble it in order to play Keops legacy.
None of the monuments can be seen or interacted with on the map. When you click them from the UI it drags the camera to the bottom left of the campaign map (where there is nothing). The garrison mechanic is completely broken.
