Nah it's all fine man, I completely agree with you.
It's literally in everyone's interest to have more mods being made and supported and not less.

Dunno if you're familiar, but in Skyrim modding scene there was an incident at one point where a very popular guy just pulled all his mods off of Nexus because of a policy change they did.

Even if to his credit he didn't nuke them entirely from the internet, the fact that it could happen with literally anything at any point was a serious wake up call to me.
And hence why I'm operating on essentially an honour system ever since, where if you wanna do something with my mods - go ahead, I'm not stopping you. And if you wanna give credit - that's great, and I'll do the same for you if I'll have to in the future, everyone wins.

totally gonna use this mod thnx!

no don't worry about it I'm literally more guilty than you even tho I got permission from the author to do whatever I want with the draconis mod, I have no proof and can't find the actual conversation to screenshot, so technically I am more guilty of asking for forgiveness rather than permission. Tbh I'm glad you did this. mod authors need to lighten up and stop being possessive of mods they will probably abandon in a year or so. I feel like art "drawings" and mod ownership is a silly idea, I feel like these things should be shared, not locked away behind the author denying reuse, adaptation and derivation of their works. some really good mods died on a unusable hill because the author denied any permission to keep their mod going or to adapt it.
srry for the text wall I just feel strongly about this.

Oh thanks, I appreciate it! It was just the front arm spritesheet from what I remember, it had 1 frame with a wing still on it, and same thing with tails on the body sprites.

And, uhh... sorry for hijacking your work, lol. I'm usually not the one to ask for forgiveness instead of permission but when the solution is sitting there infront of me my mind just won't be able to rest until it is implemented in some way.

Alright. Good luck with it.

Easy (famous last words), but I'll have to make it in all 4 configurations or otherwise my ocd will nag me about it 'till the end of time, so it'll take a bit.

Could you make another version but with Draconis Full Dragons alt. Reskin ?

Alright, in motion it turned out better than I expected it to be. Public collection with everything should be up by now.

cool, looking forward to see the results!

Perspective isn't really an issue here now that I'm looking at it, I've just excluded the spine spikes since you can't see those. The problem really is with the colored version specifically because both the spikes and the wings are same colour and so just blend together into a pixely mess.

So my options here are either a) leave it as is, or b) edit out all the spikes what overlap with the wings during walk/run cycles.
I'll test out both, because I can, and put out the better looking one. Single-colour wing version will be out most likely as-is once I double check the sprite sheet again.

pretty sure it should look fine since the spikes wouldnt interfere with wing placements.
90% of images of dragons have spikes and back wings, so it would be accurate too :)
I dont mind playing without spikes though if you decided to drop the idea

Spikes might look a bit messy with so much going on at the back, but I'll check how looks on the sprite sheets first before making certain conclusions.

Using this mod (colored wings version) now because of the fixes, thanks!
Would want to know if you're also up to make it compatible with spine spikes.
Heck, maybe you already started working on this too like the colored wings xd
