@Santanico ♀ I think it is only Tausret, and she is also bugged in vanilla with the immortal leader option. It might be related to the fact that she is the only female general in this game. Unfortunately, I haven't figured out a way to fix it for her.

@Alex Zhao The immortality script is broken , i tested multiple times in both single player and multi player. What happens is that when character gets killed (example Tausret) game says she is wounded but she is gone from recruitable generals menu and from diplomacy screen, she is only present in family screen. Once she is ''wounded'' in battle she is not playable in game anymore.

I left this comment on another mod page too because they are using same script for immortality and it looks to be broken.

Ah, that really sucks to hear, makes me wonder why they didn't just import that from 3K since it was already available as an option especially when they added immortal faction leaders, regardless thank you for the response and this makes my game a lot more fun to play, I literally stopped playing until I found out this existed so now I can jump back into it.

This is great! I love collecting all the important characters as often as I can so it makes me happy being able to get them all. A quick question, have you thought about trying to mod in 3K's version of timeless which just converts all years into turns and still keeps time moving forward + generics can die in battle/execution but immortal characters have a "wound?" Was always a big fan of that option for 3K.

@Michael_v_Anken This script uses agent subtypes to locate the specific character. Unfortunately, those characters don't have a unique agent subtype, so you will need to use other methods.

You can do that using script or trait, and adding the immortal effect to their background trait should be the easiest way.

Hi Alex Zhao thanks so much for making this mod :D, me and my friend wanted to ask too can you please make a immortal mod that makes only Tausret Immortal so she can live long enough so we can follow the historical line of succession of Pharoah from Mernepta to Seti and then Tausret.

Is it possible to include some json or anything in which the player could personalize which characters are included in the "Unique Character" list? I in particular disliked that they removed Merneptah's scripted death which changes the civil war from an early development to a mid game event. Alas a mod that scritps his death again would suffice i guess.

@Brad I love that idea! That would still allow for the chance of fatality from battles, but significantly reduce dynasties/family trees from becoming brand new bloodlines (due to the game randomly generating a new faction leader when all other family members die). I like it!

@Brad Load order doesn't matter. I am not sure about multiplayer.

Pharaoh Meneptah doesn't seem to be dying of old age in my game. Can anyone confirm if he dies? It's lame because I'm his heir. I even assassinated him and he still lives.

@Alex Zhao I dont think its the garrison, its turn 2 nobody atacked, I do the first battle and when I aproach to the city I see the guy of the photo, and in other campaign I see like 2 o 3 in the middle of a road of my faction and other factions :S, I dont know from they come.

Doing that happens absolutly the same, its the "faction_to_character_own_unseen" but I tried with the others characther to character own and I can see the immortal effect en the authority bar in game but not works, and when I put ur faction unseen it happens the "garrison bug" but I think its not the garrison TT

@xavi2333 I am not sure, normally garrison characters won't receive character buff in previous total war games. Maybe you can try to add the effect to the character's attribute in campaign_character_attribute_effects_tables instead of faction wide bonus?

@Alex Zhao For some reason empty units that cannot move appear on the map, "bugged" by enemies and mine, it seems like the "unit leader" and above their head have a blank bugged icon, is this due to the implementation we did before? Is there a solution?

@xavi2333 I see thank you for telling me, It's a half solution atleast. Retiring does seem to remove them from the game permanently sadly (basically killing them), no way to keep your faction leader around with this Ancient Legacy to work as intended it seems?
The only "work around" that I know is to simply only implement laws that you know you want to keep indefinitely and to wait untill you've acquired enough "Kudurru" to get the levels you need for the stats when formulating your Laws.
Repeating myself, but an option to change your faction leader without permanently killing/removing your current one could work (maybe add a cooldown to it), or implement a script so that you can revoke Laws every 50 to 100 turns. Hopefully CA is aware of this and implements a change themselves, but I doubt it. No rush though. I'm simply playing this campaign with mortality enabled now.
