The pods don't enharently drag them down but the weight of the cargo on them. SE calculates the weight of the cargo on the containers.

see, I didn't realize the cargo pods actually dragged it down that quick in gravity, figured it only slightly affected it and adding atmo thrusters would offset is, does that not work?

Something I want to incorporate in an atmospheric capable one is the ability for it to drop off the pods to a dock that is a modular base part too.

The ship line I've been building that's capable of planetary flight and landing will include the atmosphere capable cargo ship too.

Sorry. But you start adding gravity to the mix and the mass weight of the cargo pods become a big problem fast.

This has some very limited use in gravity. But when loaded it'll just splat on the planet surface. Other designs are coming for atmospheric use.

so, literally my only question, does this guy like atmo, or nah? (also subbed anyway cause giant cargo ship, which conveniently I am starting to need soon lol, but atmo ability would be fantastic)
