@Fred-104 Hi bro, I'm really lazy, and I've planned to port TACT and Hoverboard for years but never started :steamsad:. I wish I would do this soon.

I know I'm quite late, but would you consider backporting the T.A.C.T. and Hoverboard Scooter gadgets from SM?

@YeahkeaframPowelleythrage Indeed, the script is not a big problem. There is no global function "CreateSafeServerRPC" in Sam4, but it's defined by a lua file so I just copied it. And there is also a function that check if the skin is used in SM, so I have to split Burner and its skin as two weapons in Sam4. The real big problem is that the game won't load Burner's particle template resource file, which causes particle effects missing and halt the script. Finally I solved this by splitting template resource file into multiple ones, with only one particle effect resource in each. This is so weird because normally there ARE multiple template resources in one template resource file.

@Retronur Oh thank you! Destructions are determined by Weapon Type and Enemies Model. There is no "Crossbow" type in Sam4, and I can't modify Enemies Models in this mod. So I changed Weapon Type from "Crossbow" to "ChainsawLauncher", so Crossbow will do the same dismemberments as Chainsaw Launcher. I hope this will be okay.

Oh yeah I just checked the Burner's .ep files, they don't even have a Netricsa message assigned to them. It says "(none)".

Well it doesn't seem to be a problem but when you headshot or shot Adult Arachnoids and Scrapjacks with Crossbow they die without dismemberment or die as a default anim.

OH REALLY! I thought NOBODY and NEVER someone would be able to transfer weapons from SM to SS4 due to inconsistencies in codes and params between SS4 and SM, I expected the transfer of the SS4's lvlmaps to SM, so that I could go there with these weapons, and you DID IT take and move it, thereby making the impossible into the POSSIBLE! @Fred-104 Wow, this is quite a problem. I had to input Burner's Netricsa Information manually since SM Netricsa file can't be loaded in Sam4. But I forget to check the entry. Thank you! I'll try to fix it soon ~

@Fred-104 By the way, how to bind other game's model to sam game skeleton in blender?
I ported processed enemy skeleton into blender and try to bind other monster model to it, but after binding, the model just won't move with the skeleton.
Then I modified and renamed the monster skeleton according to processed enemy, but after porting into serious editor the monster model just tangle together when using animations. (Even though the monster's skeleton is fawless with processed enemy's animiations)
In the end I have to delete the monster's skeleton in serious editor and let its' model to use the processed's skeleton instead, and this time the model works fine with processed enemy's animations.
This is so weird. I thought I could directly bind other game's model to sam game skeleton.

@Artemy @Fred-104 I will, but maybe later. I have a bad habit that I can't focus on a single project for a period of time. Currently I am porting TFE architectures to Sam4. Maybe a few days later I'll be back for AK. But gadgets... They are more complex for me.

Glad to see the Burner and Crossbow finally backported from SM! I wonder if the AK-74MX and the gadgets Hoverboard Scooter and T.A.C.T. can be backported too?

Finally. BTW can you add AK to this pack also? Its probbly much easier to port than these 2
