@nytrok07, It probably won't be an issue, I was just curious. It seems like your mod would be pretty easy to incorporate into one of my future modding projects without Downpour, but there's a lot of other mods that would be much harder to change, so I'll probably just have to cave and use Downpour. This definitely looks like an awesome region to use, though!

Random: I don't suppose it would be possible to make a version of this mod that doesn't require Downpour? How much of this actually requires Downpour?

the VS gate will be changed as it will connect to my next region mod when its done

yeah, i really hope its changed in some way. i understand that VS was chosen as replacement for the region that was supposed to be there, but a region connecting OE and VS (sump tunnel).... yeah... now it depends whether VS is a placeholder for a potencial other region that will be made in the future. but if its supposed to just stay as some vanilla region there are a few ways of improving it and making the connection way more realistic. (number in rising scale of changes)
1. just move the gate to right of the abyss (doesnt really help on its own)
2. move the gate right of the abyss and make it go to left of pipeyard rather than sump tunnel (still not fully)
3. (and what i think would be the best) move the gate to right of the abyss and change the connection to left side of subterranean, then it would make the connection fully realistic.
the region would become both realistic length wise to go with its already good looks :]

your right poltxd the abyss gate was supose to connect to someone elses region but they dropped out last minute and i had to connect it somewhere

ngl, OE being just a few rooms higher and left is quite unrealstic. with the region being this wide, its weird that all gates stick to the left side. if the VS gate was perhaps at the right side of the abyss then it would have made way more sense, tho still not quite...

just letting you know, this mod seems to be broken. I enter the gate from pipeyard and it starts to load, gate shuts, and the water just pours endlessly. No loading time or anything

when you say camerascroll will break some rooms, you mean just visually right? it is still playable with camerascroll?

torysbeauty I found a connection to pipeyard near the shoreline connection. theres a bit with three tunnels that all bend left, 2 of them lead to other rooms, the third leads to forsaken factory

I really liked playing through this region! The platforming felt amazing (even though I used Rivulet which made it easier :P) and I love the use of rain/thunder throughout the rooms!
It's also great to see a really useful region connection (OE) since that gives the player plenty of reasons to visit it :)
Also those threat themes really slap! Amazing job with those :D

As far as I know, if you warp to a room and the sound is broken, going through a pipe should fix it. Or, if you have devtools enabled, switching to the "Sound" tab should also work :)

Quite a nice region! I hope future updates will provide more detailed refinement for the second and third layers of some rooms and add some transitional rooms. The current transitional rooms don't work very well for their intended purpose. Looking forward to the updates!

Thanks rusty the audio issues are a result of using warp mod i have always had issue with it and dont know how to fix it, regarding the other issues. I will get those bugs fixxed

Beautiful and varied region that's fun to explore! Some issues I found:
- One of the pipe entrances near the OE gate, far left pipe in room B01 doesn't work properly. You need to jump out of it, if you hold upwards, the slugcat will go back down into the pipe.
- The pipe entrance that goes to the top of a narrow tower in room F01 is practically impossible to enter, because of the two poles on either side being so close to it.
- The region is called ‘F1’ instead of ‘Forsaken Factory’ in Warp Menu (and I assume therefore in some other places).
- Some issues with audio randomly being stuck on loop or being cut up. However, I was unable to find out what triggers this, and couldn’t find any consistent issues.

The camera in ZE1 is quite awkward for the time I spent on the region. Other than the palette changing with no filler, I do like the region connections. Though, I'll have to go through more of it later
