Hi, the music in the mod is awesome, and I wanted to unzip it using bfs2pack so I could listen to it on my phone, but after unzipping, the files seem to be corrupted in some way. Can you tell me which archiver to use? :broflex::installgen2:

Adieu from Rammstein ain't 2000...jk, this is exactly what I was looking for. and btw, is it possible for me to add my own soundtracks? without having to learn how to mod and such and such
Hikari Sakai  [author] 24 Jan @ 7:43pm
you also have to convert files to ogg format 1 by 1 aswell i think?
Hikari Sakai  [author] 24 Jan @ 7:42pm
@El Donté idk ive long forgotten how to do it anymore so you'll have to dig around, all I know is that its a huge pain to do if I recall as it requires a lot of typing of information in a notepad file, aka putting artist and track names and what file to associate it with 1 by 1, it's a huge pain. Lets just say once I finished the mod and got it working I didn't have the motivation to do it ever again lol.

Is there a guide out there on how to replace music tracks in this game? Better yet if I could just modify this existing mod locally, and thanks for this mod once again, there's some new songs I've added to my own playlist from here.
Hikari Sakai  [author] 24 Jan @ 12:34pm
@El Donté I'm not adding more to this mod as I've reached the mods limits, any more songs and the game crashes
El Donté 24 Jan @ 2:55am
also drowning pool would be a real banger of an addition
El Donté 24 Jan @ 2:25am
i got a notification of some dude saying "Nirvana obviously isn't 2000s why you want this! waah waah" before they deleted their comment.

@Hikari Sakai You are a LEGEND, thank you.

I know this is kinda unrelated to the game but, any chance someone's got a spotify playlist going with all these tracks?
Hikari Sakai  [author] 10 Nov, 2024 @ 2:01pm
@Whitekiller69 I just tested it right now and even recorded a video of me trying it out and it works flawlessly, are you sure you clicked on save after choosing only my mod?

basically for the mods to work you have to open mod manager and then check the boxes of the mods you want and then click save, then either click test or back out and click on play on steam and simply play the game.

Here's the video of how to set it up and me playing the game with the mod on which you will see works completely fine for me.

I tested the game only with your mod working, without other mods, the mod glich the sky and the HUD, and it keeps crashing, Without a error message (sorry for my english, i am argentinian xdd)
Hikari Sakai  [author] 9 Nov, 2024 @ 1:30pm
@Whitekiller69 it shouldn't break the game, I tested it and it worked fine on my end
are you sure its not a different mod breaking it?
IRMAO DO PISTOLA 9 Nov, 2024 @ 8:39am
There is no way to reduce the amout of songs?, because it brokes the game:steamsad:
Hikari Sakai  [author] 15 Aug, 2024 @ 4:03pm
A lot of this is trial and error in order to even make it work, originally this mod was planned to have 290 songs but that crashed the game so i had to cut songs out of it until it stopped crashing and that number was 245 songs so i started adjusting the tracklist from there and you cant have all 245 songs on all 3 modes (Race Mode / Menu Screens / Stunt Mode) either or else it will also crash the game.
This isn't a problem for smaller soundtrack mods with smaller tracklists but for massive ones you have to essentially be selective and make sacrifices, in this case i chose to sacrifice the stunt modes music because you barely hear the music for that long anyways in that mode and its never really been the highlight of the game anyways as you're either racing or in the menus 95% of the time while stunt mode is very rarely ever used.
Hikari Sakai  [author] 15 Aug, 2024 @ 3:57pm
@mrsharipov31
I know that, there's a reason for that, if i fill up these tracks for stunt mode aswell the mod will literally crash the game before the start screen, the game cannot handle this many songs unfortunately so you have to cut tracks somewhere, either the entire list or 1 particular mode out of the 3 which in this case i chose stunt mode because you spend a maximum of maybe 15 seconds in the gameplay aspect where music plays so it's basically pointless to run music in that mode essentially.
mrsharipov31 15 Aug, 2024 @ 1:06pm
great mod, but there are no tracks for stunts
Hikari Sakai  [author] 15 Aug, 2024 @ 11:28am
@Pantoja can't add any more to the mod, it will break if i add more
Pantoja 14 Aug, 2024 @ 9:03pm
OMG. can you add Debonaire - Dope? pleaseeee
Hikari Sakai  [author] 10 Aug, 2024 @ 10:26am
@Done & @Haxscoper Thank you :)

@Marcus all good no problem lol, unexplainable shit happens sometimes, it is what it is :)
Marcus 8 Aug, 2024 @ 12:06pm
@Hikari Sakai
My game started with your mod.

When this problem appeared, I checked the integrity of the game files, I turned off all the mods except yours, and the game also refused to start. Then I decided to manually delete all the game files in the FlatOut2 folder, except for the folders themselves,
then I checked the integrity of the game files again so that Steam would download the missing files, and after that, the game and your mod would start.

I still don’t understand why after the first check of the files the game did not start with your mod, but after manually deleting all the game files it started,
although before that I had not downloaded or installed anything from the Internet, except for mods from the Steam workshop.

Sorry to bother you like that.

@Marcus
Here's proof that it works fine for me

Hikari Sakai  [author] 8 Aug, 2024 @ 9:02am
cause mine reaches the menu with no issues, even gameplay plays fine with the new music playing
Hikari Sakai  [author] 8 Aug, 2024 @ 9:01am
@Marcus
just launching the game?
Marcus 8 Aug, 2024 @ 6:06am
The game has almost loaded and displays the error:
"BFS: Fatal I/O error (998) when reading 2361344 bytes from offset 762171392."

Even if I turn off all other mods, the same thing will happen.
Hikari Sakai  [author] 7 Aug, 2024 @ 9:04pm
@【99,1%】
not familiar with that band tbh, i did notice it was one of the songs from Flatout 2, oops lol
unfortunately I cannot add anymore tracks or else the mod breaks the game quite literally, if i have 250 songs the game literally doesn't get passed the start screen so i reached the cap pretty much
【99,1%】 7 Aug, 2024 @ 8:54pm
no underoath bruh
Hikari Sakai  [author] 7 Aug, 2024 @ 8:06pm
@marlymickbutter
