basically for the mods to work you have to open mod manager and then check the boxes of the mods you want and then click save, then either click test or back out and click on play on steam and simply play the game.
Here's the video of how to set it up and me playing the game with the mod on which you will see works completely fine for me.

are you sure its not a different mod breaking it?
This isn't a problem for smaller soundtrack mods with smaller tracklists but for massive ones you have to essentially be selective and make sacrifices, in this case i chose to sacrifice the stunt modes music because you barely hear the music for that long anyways in that mode and its never really been the highlight of the game anyways as you're either racing or in the menus 95% of the time while stunt mode is very rarely ever used.
I know that, there's a reason for that, if i fill up these tracks for stunt mode aswell the mod will literally crash the game before the start screen, the game cannot handle this many songs unfortunately so you have to cut tracks somewhere, either the entire list or 1 particular mode out of the 3 which in this case i chose stunt mode because you spend a maximum of maybe 15 seconds in the gameplay aspect where music plays so it's basically pointless to run music in that mode essentially.
My game started with your mod.
When this problem appeared, I checked the integrity of the game files, I turned off all the mods except yours, and the game also refused to start. Then I decided to manually delete all the game files in the FlatOut2 folder, except for the folders themselves,
then I checked the integrity of the game files again so that Steam would download the missing files, and after that, the game and your mod would start.
I still don’t understand why after the first check of the files the game did not start with your mod, but after manually deleting all the game files it started,
although before that I had not downloaded or installed anything from the Internet, except for mods from the Steam workshop.
Sorry to bother you like that.
Here's proof that it works fine for me

just launching the game?
"BFS: Fatal I/O error (998) when reading 2361344 bytes from offset 762171392."
Even if I turn off all other mods, the same thing will happen.
not familiar with that band tbh, i did notice it was one of the songs from Flatout 2, oops lol
unfortunately I cannot add anymore tracks or else the mod breaks the game quite literally, if i have 250 songs the game literally doesn't get passed the start screen so i reached the cap pretty much
its in the list: Megadeth - Symphony Of Destruction
