Ah, yes. The mod is great for all other reasons, but the author follows the same practice 90% of other mod authors do, so that is the (only) reason for the downvote. That seems like a very well-adjusted point of view.

Yes, most mod aithors do it and its annoying as hell, I am not going to join 40 discords because the server I am in uses 40 mods. Take an exemple to those Crabby mods, they upload everything on the Steam Workshop page. Its not that hard to copy/paste instead of forcing people into 40 different discord servers. Its annoying and unneccesary. Great mod otherwise, but this is such a huge point downward imo its worth the downvote.

Most mod authors, me included, like to update everything on discord for better reach to the community they're building and easier communication.

Most mod authors as well disable comments for various reasons..

Hating the insane amount of time, love and dedication that was poured into this mod just because the detailed changelog of moving a pebble from X to Y is posted on discord and not in steam's changelogs is just pure childish... you should rather be grateful that you have someone like Dargaroth spending his precious time to give you a unique experience in Conan Exiles and expecting less than nothing in return, not even a thank you?

If changelogs being posted on discord is the reason you're not using the mod then just keep your opinion to yourself and use another mod.. there's plenty other maps but none of them offer what this one does.

Great mod but its such a shame when a server has 30 mods you're just expected to join 30 discords. You got the ''Changes'' tab on steam for a reason, please use it. Downvoted.

Not sure if its a mod issue or if its a modlist issue, I've seen issues with flickering when it rains.

The starting Journey steps are missing. The gather grass, make clothes, pick up sticks and rocks, craft first weapon and pick. Place bed roll. Learn to build sandstone base. A few other Journeys missing as well like the Ranger Armor dungeon one you're aware of already.

A change in cities would be useful
There is a lack of NPC integration: with doors, passages, when you try to set their walking route with the Thrall Ale Live mod, unfortunately the gates and doors will not open and there are bugs in the tavern, there is a bar that is not functional to add Thrall

ive tested riverboats of the exiled lands with this and for the most part it works well enough. west of manhunter ambush and south of the guy that rambles about the sandstone {area where demonic cats are} inbetween these two points there is a terrain tear with a huge gaping void {if i had to guess the tear is about 50m long and 20m at widest point} riverboats edits this region heavily, likely a conflict between the two {it is in the verdant oasis region} its out of the way so not noticable for the most part but bit of an eyesore.

at bloodmoon isle, theres nothing - just a red column of light. i saw people there in my first survey but when i travelled there to investigate the island is empty. dont know if this is intended or another overlap with riverboats. theres some docks and a boat on the west bank opposite the island.

other than that it seems flawless and a great vanilla experience.

@Snesha. Just seeing this now, sorry! You can spawn that specific NPC in game if you've accidentally blocked the one that spawn on the map. The NPC name if you're spawning from the admin panel is: Event_Gods_JS_Priest_EL

@Dargaroth. Good day. I want to thank you for the wonderful map you made - it is very beautiful and diverse. We used your map on our server, but we had one problem - we placed blocks in the city on Telif Island and the NPC Bloody tongue of the jhebal sage disappeared there and we can't place it now. It is not called through the console. Please tell me how to call this NPC on your map.

Just a little thing, the stage 2 doesn't seems to work, the first one was ok but the second got me falling in the emptiness to my death.

Desolate Lands is compatible with EEWA. Server Owners need to load EEWA after Desolate Lands or the Outposts for EEWA won't load.

Currently it is not compatible with AoC, to my knowledge. EEWA maybe? Not sure. Darkwoods definitely not.

Regarding the PvE siege, I do have plans to add a new siege elsewhere. It will likely be part of the north update once that's finished.

Hello, it conflicts with the VAM mod. Invisible walls appear that are the entrance to the houses where artisans sit, and if you rearrange, the expansion map breaks the upper right corner

noticed a few invisible walls in the spike trap tunnels in the grove dungeon (The one in the north western part of the map.) that make it impossible to get past that section of the dungeon.

Looks like bottom of the load order seems to work for it. I'm not really running any other world altering mods though other than Sandstorm/SnowstormEx and Amunet's Weather
But whichever, works for me. So far I'm too low level to be wandering down there as the Manhunters more or less immediately notified me.

How low in the load order should this be as a rule? Generally I've always run map mods at the top of my load order but on this run with Desolate Lands with it loaded at the top, in the south jungle area around L4 trying to head further south where there are obviously expanded areas I've just hit an invisible wall I can literally climb up but I can see the stuff beyond it.
