Actually I see it more like a part of a new medigun (the speedster maybe?), the ubercharge could speed up allies (movement, firing and reload speed)

I dont know, i looked at some pictures online. It might just be different enough to get it in. But it does look like something the Medic would use, and i looks like it fits. You got my vote, whatever that counts for.
