This mod caused crash on new campaign when ending turn 2, when it goes to ITHACA

Another bug report! Apologies for not noticing sooner, otherwise I would have included it in my previous message.

If you kill an enemy general in battle without wiping out the army itself, for some reason the game will display what appears to be a cropped version of Merneptah's concept art above the army on the campaign map. I have no idea what could be causing this as it seemingly happens at random.

I first noticed this bug when playing an Irsu campaign with default campaign settings, high graphic settings, and only your mods active if that helps at all.

I will take a look at the vo bug, but I think it should be caused by the db instead of start position.
Yeah this mod's current startpos file is generated after CA's fix.

I think I've found a possible start position bug. Garrison units within the "Achaea" realm appear to be using the voice lines of Egyptian units. Mycenaean garrison units are shouting things like "For Pharaoh's glory!" which I don't think is intentional. If you'd like more details please just ask!

BTW: Were you ever able to recompile the startpos.esf after a CA update fixed a victory conditions issue?

Radiouss earlier comment quoted cuz I am not super familiar, but my victory conditions are wrecked:

"Good day Sir,

CA released today new version of Ak (modding tool) where they fixed critical error which happened when compiling edited startpos file. New version no longer breaks Victory Conditions.

To get fixed version for your mod simply recreate your startpos in todays updated Asembly Kit."

As a temp fix I went to lot_template_to_building_superchain_junctions_tables and changed the building superchain to phar_main_major_poc_main_building_lower_egypt. Might nott be perfect but I can continue my campaign. =)

I added Make Them Unique after my campaign started not realizing it is a startpos mod. I bet it broke something. Ugh I really want those landmarks!

I am not 100% sure it is this mod, but I don't have many that touch the buildings. I colonized Akhetaten and can't upgrade the main settlement building. It says I must first construct all required buildings in the settlement.

Can someone confirm do the achievements work now? I'm about to start a new campaign soon.

In any case, thanks for this mod! This should've been fixed in the last update by CA.

I heard people were having issues with achievements not properly triggering when using this mod. Is this still the case since the latest update?

Hi Alex, I know you already stated that you were unable to add Menelaus to Agamemnon's family tree. However, the Expanded Family Trees mod has seemingly managed to accomplish this and more. Would it be possible to implement their solution into this mod, at least in order to include Menelaus in some capacity? Thanks!

Also, just a suggestion. But maybe re-branding this mod as "Start Position Fixes" or something similar would be ideal. As it currently does more than just expand certain building slots on the campaign map. Once again, thank you for all the work you have put into this!

Did you put some mod in your local data folder? The local movie format mods will be activated by default and won't show up in the mod manager.

sadly it won't work for me - the other with 14 slots too. :(

I deleted the startpos.ini and all mods, checked the game files and started the game without any mod. In game I started a new campaign and quit to desktop. After that I activated just the 12 slots mod and started the game again and tried a new campaign ... everything won't give me success. Could be some datas corrupted or overwritten in my game?

@Michael_v_Anken That might be caused by startpos mod confliction. Maybe try with only this mod turned on.

@Syndicalist Cat I think there is already a 12 building slots for all region mod.

Hello @Alex Zhao,

is this mod actually working as intended? I tried it several times with subscribing/ unsubscribing and started later a new game. I have just my normal 8 building slots. I used "All Unique Character Immortal", "Colonise Amarna" and "Always Young Portrait & Model" mods too, could that cause the issue?

Ninurta faction can build bronzeworks district only in port bronze cities. For example, he can build it in Anat but cannot in Shudu

xavi2333: Nope, even when CA fixes their tool and we recreate fresh new working startpos files they will only work in fresh new campaigns. If you need achievments, there is mod which unlocks all of them for you.

Update on the issue: Talked with CA about it, they replicated the issue and found what the problem is. AK is missing key file for VC. Will try fixing it asap cause they work on big Dynasties patch but that may take few more weeks and they would like to fix this AK/startpos issue sooner.

Yes this indeed should be reported to CA, AK cant properly generate startpos file which during the process fucks the VC.

Dont think doing it via rpfm will be different, not sure if older AK from Pharaoh can be used.

This is indeed issue in the CAs tool directly.

Thanks for your feedback, it seems like a bug in CA's modding tool, and all startpos mods will stop triggering victory. I am afraid only CA can fix it. I will report it to CA.

This mod makes it impossible to win the game. It breaks the victory conditions so your victory isn't recognized. Now all my work on my mesopotamian campaign is for nothing :(

This isn't as "can't live without" as some of your many, many other great mods, but it's very appreciated as well. I have some rather fixed preferences on what to build in cities and the result is 30% of options just never get a chance. This opens up some new opportunities.
Also appreciated is that only the cooler cultures get the bonus haha
I'll be all smug about in campaign, very soon. My cities are better than yours!
