Sorry for the delay. I just pushed an update which should enable console without the need of another mod.
I also forgot to save the steam description...so I'll have to rewrite that in the future.
Any update in sight?
Does the mod work for you guys?
If you have a mod that uses this, which I'm not aware of any others than my Timestamped Markers mod, then you can use whatever commands they build in without disabling achievements. Normal non-modded commands have to contain 'cheat-' in front of the command, and will still disable your achievements.
What exactly do I have to do?
Achievements are pretty much brand new in Uboat, they were added very shortly before release. Prior to that there was no block on console commands.
I have no doubt a mod will pop up to skirt the system. It's really not difficult if you know how to code and have the basics of Harmony patching down. But I made this specifically to respect the dev's choice to keep achievements locked from console cheats while accomplishing what I needed for my other mods.
@FDM Sorry, I don't have any plans to do so.
Command 1: 'Bomb'
>Invalid Command
Command 2: 'cheat-Bomb'
>WARNING: Cheat commands will disable achievements. Command was not submitted. Submit another 'cheat-' command to confirm.
Command 3: 'cheat-Bomb'
>ACHIEVEMENTS HAVE BEEN DISABLED FOR THIS CAREER
>Bomb
Command 4: 'mc-timestamp-reload'
>Valid command, other mod stuff.
