Technically yes but that's way more work than I am willing to put in. This mission is basically complete minus any minor alterations to the balance that I think are needed. The prompt about setting up your defense is mostly there to give the player time to move ships closer to the prototype / browse the equipment dock for anything good.

this has become my favorite quest to farm credits on and i'm grateful for that. a line of dialogue gave me an idea for a suggestion - considering the emphasis the dialogue puts on establishing a defensive line, would having a a marker of some kind for the main warp-in points be possible?

Well I was planning on doing some faction-themed missions in the future. I don't see why that couldn't be one.

Don't want to promise it will be out anytime soon, though. Having some difficulties balancing the two missions I am working on now.

btw is there any thread/discord or what not to get into contact with you to share some ideas as for myself i would love to see some kind of mod title "All out attack" An desperate attempt to turn the tide of the war(which can be found inside the military post of a warring faction) Making you fight waves of the enemy faction till they field multiple battle cruisers and carriers ( although i do not know if that is even possible nor smth thats missing from your mission complex) Mission should also be only available on deatwish for obv reasons haha. Just a thought on my part may be not feasible

well i am using some mods that modify turrets in themself such as the ones in Laevaethas Collection Stuffu. Have not made it to Capital weapons yet so can t talk about their influence, but the turret rebalancing mod 1.1.4 Original Turret Balancing + More [2.0+] probably does their part or does it make the AI turrets benefit too ? Did not add any weapon mods from you till now since i did not browse your personal workshop till today ^^ do these weapons make the encounters harder with your arsenal extension ?

Nah no death sentence on this one, but "Extreme" difficulty on this one is pretty spicy. I haven't even released the balancing changes that I've made recently.

Another shoutout to you! Love the mission since actual Faction Warfare seems kinda dated sadly this is probably the closest thing we get in Teaming up with an AI. Not the hardest mission if you got long range weapons and does not have to be felt nice to play. Does this mission also have a deathwish difficulty or lets be more general do all missions have one ?

My bad then, since im playing not in english language. I wrongly assumed that this ship is the one that hinders players from using Hyperdrive.

Hmmmm. Interesting.

I think I might be able to make a couple of tweaks to this so that you have to stay in the thick of things without messing with the balance too much.

However, I would like to once again emphasize that the Xsotan Oppressor does not show up on this mission. This mission does not do anything with the Xsotan - you are fighting a group of pirates .

Love this mission, but i think its too easy without the Opressor. beeing able to fly out and in again at any time you like while the factions battle each other makes one able to exploit that fight a lot. Not caring for the outcome i was able to get about 30 golden Upgrades and Turrets and a lot more Blue and Greens, while doing it in Titanium Area.

No offense, im a big fan of that mod and keep it :)

Man you litterally out there doing devs work filling up those poor mission we got I mean bored easily of "lost friend" and "investigate cargo freighter" thanks you very much for your work and inspiration
