Was tinkering with the lua file and was able to alter the min/max range to not be an issue by changing the gain values a little bit so no longer unnecessarily pushing the zomboids when I mean to attack them. Haven't been able to figure out the weapons breaking when reloading a save though. Is this mod still being worked on or would the creator be opposed if I uploaded a altered version of this?

Awesome mod! Just does not work with things that have switchable grips (Like nun-chucks from Arsenal(26) Gunfighter mod), which is probably what you meant by incompatibility with weapon modifiers. Made that mistake and lost the ability to do ascensions until I "gifted" myself an ascension orb (derpy me forgetting to read that it's incompatible). Still awesome though! 10/10 would recommend!

I agree with the previos comment, it would be nice if range stat would be removed from ascention list. It so annoying to get it over and over again instead of other valuable stats.

Could you change it so that the minimum attack range doesn't increase when getting an attack range buff? My katana rolled only attack range and now it pushes at 1.20 range instead of the default .60. It's level 20 with an attack range of 1.21 - 2 (the default is .61 - 1.4). Which sounds nice but it's actually pretty annoying when I am forced to push instead of attack at twice the normal distance.

It seems that SOMW overrides the changes made by the mod.

The modifiers are bugged in my server, the stats revert to default after every swing of the weapon.

Any chance of an option to make the chance of condition loss lower rather than infinite condition?
being half as likely to break the weapon would help significantly with the Longevity of the weapon, and much more balanced than just straight infinite.

Love the mod by the way, Been using Vorpal weapons for years, with nothing new worth replacing it until now... if this still works in build 42, I doubt I'll ever switch back.

I think the same happens with not unlimited durability
i gained one durability max on my Wood Axe but lost it apparently after reloading the savegame...

I tried the mod in singleplayer and it works perfect, but it seems that the infinite durability setting is bugged. If you ascend the weapon it works fine and the durability gets set to 999, but after exiting to main menu and reloading the save the durability goes back to the original durability of the weapon.

I've read that the mod is intended for multiplayer so don't know if u guys care about singleplayer, just reporting the bug.

@Torkkar 1 - its admin spawned for the orbs
2 - free first lets you have one free ascension right clicking any weapon if you dont already have a weapon as well as remove ascension and ascend another one too
3 - you can have infinite durability on the sandbox options, it was a recent update, by default its normal condition but the weapon can level up to gain more max condition not current condition

so 3 questions 1 are all these admin spawn locked? 2 with Free First Ascension mode is the weapon random or player selected? 3 do these weapons have infinite durability?

I know its against the spirit of zomboid, but any chance you could add a sandbox toggle to disable damage to weapon durablity?

@AnotherGuy - You can right click on a weapon and "ascend" it allowing it to become stronger as you kill more and more zombies with it. It's probably better with a weapon you can repair or doesn't break easily,

So How does enchanting work? Is this a viable replacement for Vorpal Weapons? Just looking for a mod that lets me have a weapon that grows with my character/becomes their weapon of choice, (like rick's Hatchet in TWD comics)

Does this also help with repairing and keeping the weapon intact? I dont want my favorite and leveled up weapon to break down completely after too many repairs.
