Piotrix is the one to ask about that, on this project all I did was make the interior and on this version repainted the ship and tweaked some things internally. He actually made the ship itself.

hey, downloaded this ship as a contender to be a start to a survival scenario with a new to the game friend, planned on throwing it at around 150m/s using a speed mod at a planet and living out of the wreckage, but i had a question about one thing i found when i was looking around checking it out.

I had found there are several LCDs that display the ship, its weapons, thrust, power, and damage, i was wondering how you got this LCD to work, it is beyond cool and I'd love to know how to use it on my own builds in the future, if possible, especially the live display of damage done to the craft

Beautiful ship! Looking to possibly get permissions to Retrofit this ship for a in game shipyard on the SI (Stone Industries Server) Contacting on both BP versions as I consider this a duel consent BP.

Note: I sell Prebuilt Ships inside the SI server for Tech components and this would likely be used for PVP or Mobile Base/Mining inside said server.

I once tried to strip the hangar out and use the 2cm Beam System mod to add a massive laser canon to the ship. Could never get it to work.

It's currently collecting dust in my blueprints, marked down as "The Bastard".

The variant I referred to in my two other comments is my "Andromeda II class". One change I didn't mention is that I added an alarm system to the II, with exterior emergency blinkers and interior sound blocks and rotating lights.

I also repainted an Andromeda to fit Factorum colors once the prototech update came out, which I mostly use to combat test ships to destruction.

I like this ship because it's massive, but easy to work with. Detailed, but not a nightmare.

Yeah I stripped this down more than the original since I didn't mean for it to be a combat vessel but rather an exploration mothership. I'm aware of the conveyor issues but it's also a very huge ship while it only affects a few turrets as far as I'm aware, so I haven't had it high on my priorities to track down and fix.

I'm glad to know you're using it though :) I love when people tell me that kind of stuff ♥

Oh, I really enjoy it.

I basically transformed it from a carrier into a full on dreadnought. I also tore out some of the gyros and replaced them with energy shields.

I'm thinking about up-armoring the engine room next because I use a mod that causes the jump drives to explode if damaged when holding a charge. It's an issue because the program blocks are in the engine room, and there's only one layer of light armor between the JD cooking off and taking the bridge radar, doors and the SIMPL systems with it, while also tearing the ship in half.

The only design flaws I have found are the aforementioned engine room issue (but that's mostly a modded problem), a few pipe issues here and there and the fact that the original ship isn't compartmentalized, meaning it vents it's atmosphere far too easily when in combat.

I had a lot of fun refitting this thing.

I rebuilt the bridge using the new bridge blocks, widened it and added new consoles.

I removed most of the thrusters and replaced them with Epstein Drives from a mod.

I replaced the turrets with modded ones from the Assault Weapons Pack.

I added additional air vents to the hangar, bridge, CIC and middle deck, with additional tubing and bulkheads.

And to top it all off, I added Prototech Jump Drives and gyros, and painted it Black.

It's a capital ship, so a lot. I don't record the exact block count, just PCU.
