nope, completely rebuilding the grill, interior, sometimes body shape (depends on the model) re-do all the trim, interior, wheels, taillights, bumpers, and sometimes rebuild from practically scratch depending on the decade

its not just the frame, its the entire car youve been re-using, slightly changing the grille, slightly changing the tail lights, and then passing off as an entirely new car

I am improving, just becasue its the same frame doesnt mean I didnt work hard, or try new things, I try new things all the time, and if you actually looked at my builds you would have seen that

"Fr fr, why would I build every car from scratch if it's gonna turn out similar anyway?" because it's lazy, complacency goes into laziness and it results in worse product, there has to be a strive to improve instead of just lazily putting together something and calling it a new vehicle when its near identical to the thing you changed slightly

(Also designing an original car that's Era appropriate, and spending hours on the details isn't minimal)

badge engineering is used in the same way in real life too have you heard of general motors
PoopenHeimer 16 Aug, 2024 @ 10:06am
you've been re-using the same chassis and putting in minimal effort to make them look different, your cars are just examples of badge engineering to fill up the workshop with the same thing

Minimal? I redid the entire front and back lol
